Do Some People Think The President Should Only Be A White Male? If So Why Do They Think That?
The rules are laid out for who can and can't be elected into the office and none of them are about either skin color or gender. I choose to make my vote based on how they respond to the issues and if I feel they're qualified for the position through their previous experience in other offices.
I'm certain (some people) may feel that way. After all racism exists.
Having said that (the vast majority of people) align with presidential candidates based upon their party affiliation and ideology.
I have never ever heard anyone say that. It's also nowhere in the constitution. A lot of people don't like Obama, not because he's black, but because they don't like the things he does.
