How can we do some charity decently?
At times charity work also invites criticism. We love to help poor people. But how can we do the work avoiding criticism?
Anonymously of course. People have pride and we should help them retain that while giving them the much needed help.We should not tell others when we help, it spoils the act of giving bringing the attention to ourselves. It isn't to difficult to find ways to not involve others and many times not even let the recipients know where the help came from. Silent givers plese GOD.
The best possible thing to do is to have an expectation that everyone takes care of themselves and not make excuses for them that makes you feel good.
Reallly well not everyone is able to take care of themselves!
Penny--There are those who truly need help, life is like that. For those we have charities, local and state government. Far to many are gaming the system and far to many are gaming them to further their own cause.
