If you had a choice today of Romney or Obama to be president until 2016, who would you choose today?

Surprisingly, perhaps sadly, America's big problems of 2012 are still today's big problems: border security, ballooning National Debt, the tax code, international standing, foreign trade deficit, illegal immigration, bipartisanship, Guantanamo, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, unemployment, wage stagnation, escalating medical costs, and contempt for most politicians and big money..

I'm still good with Obama. I never felt that Romney was interested in doing anything to make the life of anyone who wasn't already a millionaire any better.

I appreciate Romney was painted that way, and quite effectively, too.  The other side of that portrait is that, by going from 10.1 trillion to 17.8 trillion of debt, Americans rich and poor are all deeper in debt now by an added 77.2% under Obama.

Neither Romney nor Obama, doesn't have the solution to any of these issues you have listed above. If you take the time to look at all that's going on globally, you will see that the economy of most countries is in turmoil. You'll also see that Nations are rising up against Nations, children being disobedient to parents, people being lovers of themselves than God, etc..  This is just to tell you that we are now living in the last days.(2nd Timothy 3 Verse 3).

Deuteronomy 28 also speaks about the Blessings for Obedience/Curses for Disobedience. One of the blessings for obeying the Lord is "that you will lend to many nations but will borrow from none." The United States was blessed by the Lord to me the Leader of all nations, never to be borrowing, but lending to others.

However, because we as a nation have not been living up to God's commandments( we are so selfish, lovers of ourselves than others, greedy, hateful against our fellow brothers and sisters, condoning things that are clearly against God's will, etc.), we have been cursed for being disobedient to God, and are now experiencing the consequences.

There is truth in what you say, but you are expected to answer the question, if you can.  The rest is the subject for a Hub.

I merely responded based on the comment you made above. However, the honest answer is that I would have voted for Obama, simply because he was at least leaning towards some form of "equality" for "all." Romney failed to at least state a plan.

I'd have to vote Romney. He had my vote before, mostly as a "lesser of 2 evils." These past 8 years have certainly put us behind in more ways than one. While I was initially a backer of Obama's healthplan, it has not proven to be as originally conceived/promised. Yes, Mitt Romney would have my vote.

In 1980 America's National Debt as a measley $1 trillion, and we thought that was bad.  By 1993, it had quadrupled to $4 trillion, and now it is $17.8 trillion (having climbed rapidly from $10.1 trillion in 2008.  When does it stop?

If we continue to elect the wrong people into office, it may never stop!

Obama has disappointed me in that he hasn't stood up to big insurance companies and his ACA hasn't gone as well as promised, but he would still have my vote. Romney is a member of a party that doesn't do much for the common people, especially women.
