It has been reported by The Politico that Paul Ryan refers to his running mate as "The Stench" behind closed doors. He has reportedly told staff,if "The Stench" calls tell him I'm having breakfast with Peggy Noonan. Looks Like the Romney Ryan ticket is imploding.
This Ryan fellow sounds a lot like a fifth columinst. That can't be helping Ronney and the ticket.....
Of course, it is imploding. Enemies galore! Politics does indeed make very strange "bedfellows"!
Mio, you need to read more. Roger Simon admits to making up the story about "the Stench." Of course, that didn't stop some liberal pundits from running with it as if it were true. Read the very end of Simon's article:

Is it just me, or is there an inordinate amount of "punking" going on in this campaign, along with people taking seriously things that clearly were intended as funnies.
More than once The Onion has been brought into the mainstream news.
Hmmm, maybe it's all a vast publicity stunt by the comedians!
Oh, but it was so possible and so funny that we couldn't help ourselves!
Mio, Gossip does not make for good community.
Don't report this type of trash until you verify it first.
It's a satire gone crazy.
However, there are many, many reports of "divorce" between the two.
They do not seem to be getting along all that well.
http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2012 … n-as-fact/
Its funny though. This whole campaign has been all the liberals going out and finding trivial things on the republicans. Trivial little things like 47%...come on we all know its true he was stating a fact! Yet we have PROOF not dirt on Obama. Proof that Obama is not going to make our country a better place. Obama is jut going to make it worse just as he has done these past 4 years. So choose someone who hasn't had a chance to prove himself and just has rumors that might not even be true being spread about him, or let someone we already know has made our country worse run the country AGAIN making it even worse. If he couldn't do anything great the first 4 years he won't be able to do it the next 4 years.
"We all know it is true and he was stating a fact."
What fact exactly what Romney stating with his dismissal of 47% of the US citizenry?
"We have PROOF not dirt on Obama."
Proof of what, exactly?
"If he couldn't do anything great in the first 4 years then he won't be able to do it the next 4 years."
What would you consider "great?"
The fact that my husband now has health insurance solely as a result of Obamacare -- I think that's pretty great.
I know quite a few people who were able to avoid foreclosure on their homes and get loan modifications instead as a result of Obama's policies.
There are many, many more examples of positive changes Obama has made.
But it is true, Obama's ability to accomplish everything on his agenda has been significantly hampered by
a) Inheriting a crashed economy from his predecessor
b) Having a Congress whose sole agenda is to make him a one-term president
So really, the fact that he's been able to accomplish anything at all, with one hand tied behind his back, actually proves the opposite of your premise.
Taking the gloves off, he will be able to get even more done in his second term!
I can see that a lot of people on here are worried about religion fading and faith being lost. They are wondering...why is our country losing its religion? I can tell you why? Its because of Obama and the liberals. They want to get rid of religion. They even tried taking about "God" from our pledge. Obama is not for religion. I am Cuban and I have experienced communism and socialism. Obama is a spitting image. He says spread the wealth.... Cuba spread the wealth... now everyone is equally poor. Obama wants to add more Welfare programs because it causes more dependency on government and makes less people want to start making money because then they wont have all the free handouts the government gives. He supressed freedom of speech in front of any agents which is rading the constitution. and come one... Obamacare? really? Cuba also got rid of religion so that the country could worship Fidel as their God. Spread the wealth, no religion, restricted freedom of speech, messing with the constituion? ALL SIGNS OF SOCIALISM!!!! DO NOT VOTE FOR THIS MAN WHO HAS TIES WITH ALL OUR ENEMIES AND TERRORISTS!!! He even stated that Capitalism does not work!!! What kind of president is this? Oh and not letting the soldiers vote early when eveyone else can? how is that fair? He has put us more in debt and weakened our country's faith, ROMNEY RYAN 2012 all the way!!! Its the smart choice!
Just giving Obama excuses it looks like
What fact? The fact that yes 47% of Americans ARE dependent on the government.
Proof that Obama is not helping our country AT ALL and making it worse. we are 3 times in debt than before and unemployment has gone up! What more? Of course there are many more things to be said but that would be trivial things just like the Romney rumors being spread. I focus on the important things like how much better our country is now than before? NOT AT ALL! and its getting old everyone is still blaming Bush. The damn guy has been out of office for 4 years already enough excuses! Great would be something like um idk? MAYBE less deficit and more employment!!!
And what policies did he make to help foreclosure? Because I know 2 families close to me that have foreclosed.
Stop BLAMING BUSH! its pathetic. Reagan came into presidency right after Carter!! a horrible president and Reagan accomplished a lot. What are you talking about? Obama started his first two terms with democrats running congress! He didn't do anything just make things worse!!! What was his excuses then? Bush? HAHA! pathetic! They voted the democrats out of congress because they sucked!
Perhaps you are not familiar with the term "proof."
Here on the HP forums it is customary -- although by no means mandatory (or I suppose in your case that would be MANDYtory, eh?) to provide some kind of citation to back up one's claims.
Here is an example of what I mean.
http://video.foxbusiness.com/v/16886417 … d-economy/
Perhaps you have an alternative source. Perhaps you would be willing to validate your accusations with third-party information that supports what you are saying.
That would be most welcome.
It has been my experience, however, that those who shout their opinions with ALL CAPS and exclamation points !!!!! without any credible documentation are not taken seriously. In fact, they are often ascribed the label "troll."
I would hate to see your contributions to our community dismissed in this manner.
But that choice is up to you, not me.
In January 2012, the unemployment rate for women was 5,997,000 unemployed. That total is up by 19.8 % from when Obama was elected
As of June, 2012; 5,785,000 women 16 years and up were not working, up by 780,000, or 15.5% from who were unemployed in January 2009 when Obama came into office. Almost six million women are presently unemployed, over 400,000 have lost their jobs, and poverty rates among women have soared to record highs. We now have the highest poverty level in 17 years! Under President Obama's leadership, more women have struggled finding work than any other time in history. How many think we are doing better under Obama? Do you see the facts?
Real median household income is down $4300 since Obama took office
The percentage of unemployed workers who've been out of a job for more than a year is over 30%
The country has had the longest streak of +8% unemployment since the Depression under Obama: 39 months and counting.
In 2011 under Barack Obama, nearly one out of every seven Americans was on food stamps. That's a 70 percent increase from 2007.
U.S. home ownership is at a decade long low. So is the number of Americans who say their home is worth more than they paid for it. Home prices are the lowest they've been since 2002
Barack Obama ended NASA's manned space program.
When he was running for President in 2008, Barack Obama pledged not to raise taxes on families making less than 250,000 dollars per year. He broke that promise with the tanning salon tax and with Obamacare, which raises almost 500 billion dollars in new taxes, a significant portion of which would be paid by people making less than 250,000 dollars per year.
In February of this year, the federal government had a 229 billion dollar deficit. That was the largest deficit in the history of the United States.
) America lost its AAA credit rating (which it had held since 1917) on Obama's watch despite the fact that Timothy Geithner publicly said there was "no risk" of that happening.
Barack Obama added more to the debt in just 38 months than George Bush did in two full terms as President.
As of Jan. 20, 2009, the publicly held debt was $6.31 trillion and the gross debt was $10.63 trillion. As of May 14, 2012, the publicly held debt was $10.92 trillion and the gross debt was $15.68 trillion.
So, the publicly held debt has grown by $4.61 trillion, and the gross debt has grown by $5.05 trillion. Thus it’s certainly correct that the national debt has grown by about $5 trillion under Obama.
Bush had rescued Fannie and Freddie Mac and launched the Troubled Asset Relief Program, which depending on how you do the math, was a one-time expense of $250 billion to $400 billion in the final months of his presidency. (The federal government ultimately recouped most of the TARP money.) So if you really want to be fair, perhaps $250 billion of that money should be taken out of the equation — on the theory that it would have been spent no matter who was president.
Nutting acknowledges that Obama is responsible for some 2009 spending but only assigns $140 billion for reasons he does not fully explain. (Update: in an email Nutting says he attributed $120 billion to stimulus spending in 2009, $5 billion for an expansion of children’s health care and $16 billion to an increase in appropriations bills over 2008 levels.)
So you wanted facts might mom? there they are? What could he have done GREAT? well definitely not anything that he DID do. His time is up lets pass it on to someone who deserves it and can make this country better! Someone who actually loves our country, pledges to our flag and that we KNOW was born here in the USA. Heck Obama can't even remember his birthday!

Very good.
Now if you would not mind, we'd like to see the source for all these facts.
Hello Mandy. Welcome to Hubpages. It is nice to meet you.
You managed, during your first hour on Hubpages, to post more errors, exaggerations, distortions, and myths; more than any other hubber I know. Most of what you claim has already been proven to be untrue or is not the responsibility of the current administration. Many in the forum would love to discuss your opinions but your opinions will not be accepted as facts unless you provide verifiable details to support them.
By the way, President Bush began the process to shut down the NASA Space Shuttle program. In September 7, 2008, NASA Administrator Michael Griffin wrote in a new release, the Bush “Administration policy is to retire the shuttle in 2010 and purchase crew transport from Russia until Ares and Orion are available.” {1} How do you know that my claim in correct? You follow the link below to the actual news release on the NASA web site.
Again, Mandy, I am happy to see you on Hubpages. I’m looking forward to reading your first hub.
{1} http://www.nasa.gov/home/hqnews/2008/se … email.html
no errors and no exaggeration just proof that a lot of people like you are to blind to see and thank you nice to meet you too.
Hello again, Mandy.
Forgive me but I am confused. You claimed President Obama ended the manned space program. I provided proof that the decision was made by President Bush in 2008. In your reply to me you say your statement contained “no errors no exaggeration” Duh! If you disagree with the truth as presented, it would be better to state your reasons. Instead, your reply has the audacity to call me “blind” after you refused to admit you made a mistake.
I place a value on my credibility, Mandy, and I hope you do the same. I am not blind to facts, as you claim, and I clearly understand your statements represent your personal perspective. However, your view of our society is far from universal. Let’s look at your claims regarding jobs, and the national debt. How sly of you to bring up unemployment among women and not mention the country is in the throes of a recession. There are men struggling to find work too, Mandy. The fact is the job picture has improved under this president. {4}
Under President Obama’s tenure there are 4.5 million more jobs today in the private sector than in Jan. 2009. CNN reports, “Nonfarm private payrolls hit a post-recession low of 106.8 million that month [Jan. 2009], according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The figure currently stands at 111.3 million as of July.” {1} Would you like to quibble over how many of those 4.5 million NEW jobs were filled by women?
If you read further in the CNN report, Mandy, you will come across this: “There's been a net loss of nearly 1 million public-sector jobs since Obama took office.” Now that translates into smaller government and it is exactly what Republicans say they want to achieve.
There is even more evidence in your statements that you are ignoring what has happened in government spending and the national debt during the current administration. As for the national debt, here is what a great many Americans see when they analyze the data.
In 2009, under President Bush’s last budget, there was a $1.4T deficit and the national debt stood at $11.9T. Federal revenues were falling and spending for stimulus and economic stabilization programs were on the rise. It was not a good fiscal year for President Bush. However, President Obama, had to carry on the economic battle and to face the long-term burdens of the recession during 2010, 2011, and 2012. He did just that and actually delivered lower budget deficits in each of those years than did his predecessor: $1.29T, $1.29T, and $1.32T compared to $1.4T under President Bush’s last budget. {2} You might also wish to consider that his budget performance paid for two wars he did not start.
Finally, when you analyze the real data about the national debt, your claims begin to pale. Budget years 2010, 2011, and 2012 under President Obama added $1.6T, $1.3T, and $1.6T to the debt compared to the $1.9T added during President Bush’s last budget year. So the facts, Mandy, speak for themselves. While dealing with the Great Recession of 2007-2009, President Obama has been more frugal and more responsible with our tax dollars then his predecessor. {3} At the same time, he has been aggressive in his efforts to turn the economy around including a number of stimulus proposals following the 2010 elections that Congress rejected.
Just the same, I can’t wait to read your first hub. Good luck with it.

Quilligrapher- Your figures are interesting. If you do some digging you will discover that many of the government jobs that have gone away are US military jobs. Death, injury, and end of enlistment makes those jobs go away painlessly for the government. . Remember this administration has cut military spending significantly. The Affordable Healthcare Act increases the number of government agencies significantly. The Environmental Agency has increased its budget and significantly and added jobs We work in the Silicon Valley and while companies like Goggle and FaceBook have added jobs for the highly educated experienced professional entry level jobs are no where to be found. California hosts two of the poorest towns in the country. The jobless rate in the Fresno Bakersfield area is estimated around 40%. The reason Governor Brown pushed high spreed rail down our throats, that will go approximately between these two cities, was jobs. To get 3 billion in Federal money the state will have to cough up 10 billion of money the state doesn't have. Read the Wall Street Journal to get information instead of CNN.
Like your statement in another thread that said Cuba outlawed all religion so Fidel could be worshipped as a God?
MANDYtory? really? lol yes what i provided you with was indeed proof. Plus the proof is all around you right now. What more proof do you need to see that our economy is going down the drain with Obama. But its liberals like you who help ruin this country so I guess we can't put ALL the blame on Obama since people like you are the ones who put him in office anyways. Your experience is not proof either about the caps and exclamation marks. Its how I express myself no need to pick at trivial things. Just like all you liberals do with Romney. Somone you haven't even seen as a President. Judgements can't be made about him being a horrible president if he hasn't even been president yet.
If you want to search the sources be my guest Just do reaaseraching on Obama instead of trying to find small trivial things to hold against Romney.
Ooookay. You realize what that does to your credibility, right? At least with anyone who has been to Cuba?
what does it do? Make me aware to what the signs of communism and socialism is? Yes I do realize that.
No it makes a joke of your credibility. Religion was never abolished in Cuba (in the 60s 70s and 80s it was harder to get a job and such as a Christian but nothing was abolished) and now that is past, most of my friends in Cuba are Catholic and several of the attend church every Sunday... it's no issue.
Cuba was declared an Atheist country... he later changed it to secular country... they still restrict the churches from media and its still a restriction such as Obama is hinting ( getting rid of "God" in the pledge. He pt it back sure. but it should have never been taken out in the first place. Read this : http://www.ordendemaltacuba.com/Pages/historycuba4.aspx
You know the US is a secular nation too right? Being a secular nation we should not have references to God in our official documents etc. and Obama is completely correct.
Religion in Cuba was never abolished, whether it appears in the media or not is a different issue. Even the party accepts religious members.
we are a secular state but with rights... and Obama is slowly taking that away from our religion.... if your okay with that then somethings wrong. America was built as a Christian country... yes we allow other religions because we have freedom but doesn't mean that we should start neglecting our original religion that help build this country.
This is not a Christian country, some of our founding fathers were actually anti-Christian and we are constitutionally secular which means the US has NO state religion and favors NO religion, since not all religions have a god having the word God in anything official actually violates our constitution and certainly violates our secularity.
Very simple.
Everyone has the right to worship privately and every religion has the right to exist, none of them have the right to be part of our official nation.
It was built with Christianity whether or not some of the founding fathers were Christians or not.
I never said people couldn't worship what they wanted. I think its great that in America they can. Just because our pledge has the word "God" in it does not mean everyone who lives here is forced to believe it. But Obama should not be messing with our pledge. He doesn't even pledge to our flag. How sad!
It might do you good if you would read a book or two... As far as I know, Obama has not messed with the pledge of allegiance. Which actually didn't include God until 1954.
he has not "messed" with it but he is messing with our constitution. You are obviously the one missing all these facts. You should read up on them and learn a thing or two about who your president REALLY is.
I could have sworn you said " But Obama should not be messing with our pledge. "
Sorry, I only read legitimate sources. Did you know Romney wants to change the constitution?
Why are you so afraid of the word God?
They all fear His name. And they must re-educate all of us so we stop using it.
The word doesn't scare me... some of the people who worship it do.
But that is neither here nor there.
The point is as simple as we are a secular nation constitutionally which means we should not be in our official capacity favoring any religion or religions (that's what secular means) therefore having the word god in anything official is wrong.
I wrote an article recently entitled "Is Winner-Take-All a real Winner? It explains the Electoral College and discusses voting systems. You might find it interesting if you have not read about the National Popular Vote. I believe this is a way for minority groups to get more attention at the poles.
