Is it permissible to lose some freedoms for the sake of security?
The question is general and includes more than just gun control, much more. No wrong answers and tell me why it is ok, or not ok to lose freedoms for the sake of security. thanks
I think it is necessary and therefore acceptable. Is it necessary to lock your door at night or when you use the toilet? Is it necessary to have a policed state?
I like the fundamental nature of the question because the fundamental answer is easy.
