Should political figures, wealthy people, movie stars, and/ cops get away with breaking the law?
Is it ok? When it ok to intervene?
What makes it right or wrong? Is it a social thing?
It is NEVER ok to let anyone get away with breaking a law simply because of who they are or what they do. I don't care if it is a politician, celebrity, veteran who served 4 tours, or a cop!
If they commit a crime they should be punished, but then again we live in a country that thinks a banker or politician can steal thousands and it's ok while a poor person sells some of there food stamps for gas money is a bad person.
It's a sad situation, but it is what we have!
They shouldn't be held to a different standard. Which is why Manning going to prison for life for less than Hillary Clinton's acts is insane.
Ditto celebrities getting away with public drug use that lands others in prison for years.
