Why does Mitt Romney dislike Donald Trump so much? Is it  just political or personal?.

Donald Trump supported Mitt Romney's campaign 4 years ago; he also donated a large amount of money to his campaign.  So why is he so against the Donald?  Leave aside the fact that many Republicans don't quite take to Trump, is Mitt Romney taking it too far.

Speaking as a lifelong Republican, who admires Mitt Romney, he's angry because all the work that the Party has done in outreach to other communities (Latino, young voters, etc.) has been undone. We're back to being the party of old white guys.
There are ways of saying things. Our candidate can say we need to protect the border, come out with a plan and tell us how to get it done. But don't call an entire ethnicity rapists, and drug dealers.  Americans are the ones buying the coke and heroin, so we're responsible for much of the violence. Also, stop picking fights with female media members. It's looks ridiculous.

Thanks for your answer - I agree there is a way of saying things and that's one area where Mr. Trump can improve.  But I feel if you look deeper, there is truth in what he says and only he has the audacity to voice the obvious.

He is probably envious of the billionaire, because he is not one of them. He failed miserably in his attempt for the presidency, and once again is envious that another more richer than him person is doing so well in the presidential campaign.

    Sour grapes.

You're quite right! Its time to get over it and put his might behind the billionaire nominee, the top Republicans can easily take him under their wings and show him he ropes.
