Why are police officers so against the legalization of Marijuana?
Tobacco users regularly work despite the addiction, hence smoking breaks being institutionalized at workplaces for decades. Marijuana smokers are more likely NOT to work and thus need to steal or sell drugs to make a living, meaning that group contributes more to crime relative to tobacco users.
Tamara, I agree. An officer told me that marijuana also impends users' driving skills and the ability to be alert on the road, hence causing more auto accidents.
