So what do you think about ongoing War Fever between Pakistan & India? Who is in strong position?
I believe India is in a better position.
India has grown closer to the U.S. in recent years and I believe the Americans are getting fed up with the Pakistanis. Their continued support of terrorism is a destabilizing force. I'm sure there are factions that are very pro Western within Pakistan, but you can only play both sides for so long. Islamic terrorism appears to have a safe home in Western Pakistan. Couple that with the government's ties to China and you have a troubling mix of ideologies.
China is the wildcard in all this. Will they support Pakistan both financially and militarily? They are reeling from losing their dispute over the Spratly Islands and are looking to hurt the U..S. Destabilizing the subcontinent is a way to do it.
