Will you be voting in this year's presidential election based on issues or people?

What is more important to you in this year's election?  The issues or the candidates (their personality, experience, history, reputations, etc)?

For me the issues at the time are always the most important.
I try to vote for the person I believe who will address the issues (I'm) most concerned with and whose philosophy is more inline with my beliefs. I imagine many voters vote along (party lines) regardless of issues! There are very few true "independents" or swing voters.
Ultimately however it's congress who decides if a president's agenda moves forward or not. Generally speaking the nation's voters don't like the idea of having the presidency, congress, and the senate being controlled by (one) party.
They usually vote to change it during midterm elections.
Therefore a certain amount of "gridlock" is always going to be there.
In past eras "bipartisan" bills were applauded. However today compromise is seen as a betrayal and party loyalty is rewarded regardless of what the citizens want.
Today it would take an extreme amount of courage for someone to vote against their own party leader's agenda based on principle.

A loyal party voter is the root cause of gridlock in congress, and the last 28 years of bad presidents. The voter needs to change the party to represent them and the people instead of the party following their third party investors

No, teapublicans are the cause of gridlock. They couldnt stomache a black prez. So they acted like churls and took lots of money while doing it. Welfare kings.

Issues, bar none. We are looking at reversal of decades of hard work towards progress. My kids will be back in my grandmothers era! And anyone who doesnt care is not affected by it. The rest of us are fighting for life liberty and the pursuit of hapiness.

I think both.  I like Hillary even though she has flaws and I also like her platform and that she is acknowledging Bernie.  I honestly think she as president is what is best for our country at this time and I think she will do her best at running our country which is not an easy thing to do.  I abhor Trump.
