What would Walter Cronkite's editorial on Donald Trump's poll numbers be on this day in history?

Google Doodle is featuring Walter Cronkite today on what would be his 100th birthday. He was a war correspondent and one of the most trusted journalists in America. He was a man of integrity and honor-a thoughtful man, articulate, serious."The values that Mr. Cronkite embodies – excellence, integrity, accuracy, fairness, objectivity – we try to instill in our students each and every day..." said Dean Christopher Callahan." (Wikipedia).  He was married for nearly 65 years to Betsy Cronkite. He was highly intelligent and lived a life of service.I can only image what he would say of Donald Trump.

He at least acted neutral. His modern peers have gone from being watch dogs of people in power to their lap dogs, where promoting socialism/liberalism is more important than telling the truth and justification for not reporting stories that make liberals look bad and exaggerating stories or faking stories to make conservatives look bad.

This Election Has Disgraced the Entire Profession of Journalism

Tamara, Thank you for your comment.  Totally disagree.  The TV time they gave to Trump far outweighed any reasonable coverage.  As they say in the industry "There's no publicity that's bad publicity." It was Trump 16/7 in my estimation.Solid Branding
