To those who voted for Trump, what were your reasons for voting for the new President elect?  Was it

basically moral, sociopolitical, or socioeconomic?  What sociopolitical & socioeconomic changes do you want to happen in America under his presidency?

I didn't vote for Trump but I think Trump voters wanted an outsider and 'drain the swamp' of DC.  That's is what I hear, but I don't believe it. Why? Because if people really wanted change - then why is there a 97% re-election of incumbents?  Looking at the possible names being considered for Trump Admin here are a few:

Interior secretary - Sarah Palin or Donald Trump Jr
    Treasury secretary - Steven Mnuchin
Secretary of defense - Jeff Sessions
    Attorney general - Rudy Giuliani
Homeland Security secretary - David Clarkeor or Joe Arpaio

The bulk don't believe, rightfully so, that Washington is working for them.

Many can't exactly pin point the reasons, but many know generally they have been getting screwed over for a couple decades now... Obamacare being the latest stick-it-to-ya for many Americans that have had their costs doubled, or lost their insurance entirely because they could not afford it, in just the few years it has been in effect.

Lets continue with the Obamacare as one example... tens of thousands of people who used to vote Democrat, have either seen their health care costs doubled, tripled, or worse since its inception.  If you don't fall into a category that protects or provides for you, you are stuck footing the bill, and facing insanely high deductibles.  As one person noted: The only way this insurance is valuable to you, is if you go out and jump in front of a bus!

Same for NAFTA... and now TPP... the people effected by these horrible (for American workers) trade agreements, are in Ohio, Michigan, Penn., etc.  and that is why these states flipped to Trump... because he ran on promising to change those trade agreements, to bring back jobs, to lower business tax (highest in the world) etc.

That's what people want... Jobs.... the ability to care for themselves and their loved ones (Obamacare made that harder for hundreds of thousands of Americans, not easier), as Bill Clinton said back in 1992 'Its the economy, stupid!"...

The Progressive, globalist, open borders & free trade outlook do nothing to help American Workers and EVERYTHING to hurt American Workers.

H1-B and H2-B visa... immigration program that allows companies to hire foreigners to take American's jobs.  That is jobs currently being filled by American citizens... being lost to foreign immigrants... so that companies like Disney can save a buck.

The Democrats tried to make this about electing the first woman... tried even to stir controversy up over transgender/no-gender bathroom use... that's what they do, they make every effort to focus people on race, sex, abortion, anything but jobs and the economy... anything but the visa programs that take away jobs from Americans... or the open borders that allow companies like Toll Bros, to hire thousands of illegals over paying fair wages to Americans.

This was about Draining the Swamp, Building a Wall, and Bringing Jobs back to America... that's it.  All the other stuff I am willing to bet 95% of the people who voted for Trump could care less about.
