Whats pro & cons of Demonetization in India ?
Recently, Indian government has demonetized 500 and 1000 denomination notes in India with effective 9 November 2016. What you think about it ?
It's a good move and only if the intent is honest it will have far reaching consequences for the Indian economy. Needless to say that billions worth of fake currency is immediately out of circulation and ona long run this move will pave way for a cashless economy and a more transparent taxation system.
