Where is the UN peace keeping force when it comes to Syria and Aleppo?

It seems this is a prime example of what a UN peace force is suppose to do. Why are they not present in Aleppo to protect the innocent citizens of Syria?
What good is a peacekeeping force when they are not used?
Let's call for the disband of the UN and replace I with a real force for good.

Whether anyone agrees or not UN as whole is becoming an increasingly defunct. Conflicts after conflicts, war, all this hate mongering. Look at UNHRC for instance... they dont give a darn that civilians are getting bombed everyday in Syria, but instead to siphon off funds world wide they engage their propoganda machinery by using pityfull images of kids. What's most laughable is Saudi's are human right authorities per UN in that region.

I am no expert, but gather the key is "Peace Keeping Force". Those forces are sent when 'peace' occurs. In other words there is an official settlement to the conflict. Another way to view it is they police the negotiated permanent ceasefire after the conflict is concluded. It is an overseeing force mainly observers.

With Syria they did send 'Peace Keeping Forces' in 2012. That was when the President of Syria agreed to a peace plan. We all know that did not happen. The UN withdrew its force.
