Is it still "me, my, mine" and to hell with fiscal conservatism?
No country in history has ever borrowed $10 Trillion in just 8 years, and seems happy, or at least content, to be paying $48,000 per minute in interest on that debt. At that rate how long would it take to give every citizen in the United States a roof over their head (a brand new one) if we could be using those funds for housing instead of interest payments? Let's get real. This cannot continue. We cannot spend ourselves wastefully to prosperity. It costs too much. Buy too much on credit and what happens? You know the answer, good government should too!
