What question should be asked of FBI director Comey?

Congress is holding hearing on the Russian hack and on intelliegence surveillance of the Trump team... what question should be asked of Director Comey?

In my mind, I would want to know if he think it is possible for any one agency, NSA, CIA, or others to conduct these type of surveillance without his departments knowledge or participation?
That is the key to all this leaks and in fighting among the various intelligence agencies.
No one seems to be in charge...

Why the FBI let the DNC reject the FBI's request to get the alleged Russian hacked DNC servers. All of this time more than 9 months, the Russian hacking is based on the word of the DNC. The DNC is hardly a reputable source, as the info on their servers showed how they cheated Bernie Sanders out of the primary. It seems like the DNC was worried that even more damaging information might be on those servers.

The other question would be if you can't confirm president Trump's accusation against president Obama and spying on Trump tower, then who leaked the General Flynn conversation, and who is behind all the leaks in the WH and the executive branch since Trump became president.

The FBI should investigate all the other intelligence agencies, and someone should investigate the FBI. Until we find the leaks against president Trump everyone is suspect.

I would also ask him why Hillary Clinton was never sworn in why they investigated her. Also why was her staff, and especially her IT administrator given immunity when they didn't give any testimony, and many refused to appear at the congressional hearing.

There were claims of Russian hacking of the Hillary Clinton private unprotected server, and yet Clinton had the server bleached bit. This seems to be an obstruction of justice, and a violation of the subpoena duces tecum from congress on her server.

How can the hacking allegations of her server be substantiated when the government was never allowed to investigate it.

You are absolutely correct. Something is amiss and no one in Congress seems to care... They are suppose to be the oversight on all these agencies or at least control their budget. Money talks.

Jack, in addition, isn't it interesting how well the democrats have deflected the content of Hillary emails to the allegation that the Russians hacked them.  emails were to have been turned over the gov per subpoena. No one ?s their veracity. Content

Doesn't matter, it;s all grandstanding for the Dems, while Comey /Rogers says thathey can /won't comment on that in a public forum.

I don't trust Comey. I wonder if he is another J. Edgar Hoover. But maybe I would ask him why and how General Flynn was wire tapped in Trump Towers, even though "Trump was not tapped" according to Comey. But I wouldn't expect an honest answer. After all, he let HRC off the hook without batting an eyelash.
Comey is a strange man. Things just don't add up where he is concerned.

I agree with you. There is something wrong going on with the FBI ever since Obama presidency. He appointed Comey. All along, we were told he was a straight shooter... If he was, why do they constantly need to remind people...

My brother-in-law, retired FBI agent, liberal, have met Comey in person, said he is a "good" guy.??

I do not believe Comey is a good guy. He is just someone who knows how to act like he is. Big difference.

Great article. A highly successful lawyer I know said this about Comey...."He's a nutcase." I think that sums up the FBI Director pretty well.
