    Belarus---What is going on with the unrest in Belarus?

    I know some people from Belarus that I care about.  There is some kind of unrest or turmoil going on there but I do not understand the language or culture so can't really tell what is happening.   There are many security forces who appear to be handling normal citizens in a very rough way.  Does this have anything to do with Russia?  Thank you.

    Belarus thinks Russia is trying to instigate a rebellion to turn over control of the country to a Russian-friendly government or just annex it like Crimea.
