Why should workers under 40 years of age be compelled to pay the FICA TAX?
new limit being suggested is 70 years of age, that would mean 30 years to more than 50 years for most of these workers to get any benefits from SS or Medicare.
Many of them will die and never received any benefits.
Consider that since 1937 the SS death benefit is $255.
SS and Medicare are called Entitlements suggesting they people are receiving welfare. These are TAXes not welfare, and they suggest benefits like retirement and health insurance.
