Not sure that "admit" in your title is the appropriate terminology.  "Brag" seems more appropriate for a sanctuary state that warns criminals to disappear when law enforcement comes nearby.

Its not the state, its the politicians in government. People in orange county are getting fed up with it.

Here in LA county, my neighbor was at work when some illegal aliens from Mexico plowed into her Acura which she had just put $2000 into. They were drunk. They were going about 80 mph as they came down the street. For some reason they just smashed into the Acura which was parked on the street. The police came and took the driver and the passenger to the hospital, as both had been badly hurt. We don't know what happened to them, they probably got free medical treatment and then released.

    What else?

PS   The Acura was totaled and my neighbor got $1,500 for it. sad

Jerry Brown owes her a new car, if you ask me.

"… the anti-sanctuary momentum gaining ground in Orange County shows that it remains a place with a very conservative core.

On Monday, Texas and more than a dozen other states led by Republican governors got behind the Trump administration and filed an amicus brief in support of a lawsuit against California’s sanctuary laws."

"The Trump administration went to federal court to invalidate the state laws, contending they blatantly obstruct federal immigration law and thus violate the Constitution’s supremacy clause, which gives federal law precedence over state measures. That case is pending.

Other cities in the county, including Yorba Linda, Buena Park, Huntington Beach and Mission Viejo, are also starting to take action to voice their grievances against the state’s sanctuary laws."

I agree with wildnerness, a more appropriate word might be "brag" or boast.
These Cities/States do not care how all of this insanity looks or appears to law-abiding citizens. They have chosen to participate in criminal behavior, for gain and find ways to justify it, all at the same time.

      … or blatantly inform.
The whole state needs to get on board with the fed. The legal breadwinners, I mean...

Well, I hate to burst everyones Undocumented Worker bubble but, even with Spanky Trump floundering around in the oval office for almost a wasted year and a half as he destroys America, I still don't see a mad dash by caucasian Americans to challenge Mexicans for their lovely fruit picking jobs, or kitchen jobs, or maintaining golf course jobs, or car wash jobs or hotel maintenance jobs which is exactly the type of work most of them do when they get here.

And no, a million undocumented humans have no licenses and no, 3 million undocumented humans did not vote in the 2016 election, it's just Trump's mental illness talking.
