This was Trump reaction:
“Paul Manafort's a good man. He was with Ronald Reagan, he was with a lot of different people over the years, and I feel very sad about that."
"I feel very badly for Paul Manafort and his wonderful family. “Justice” took a 12 year old tax case, among other things, applied tremendous pressure on him and, unlike Michael Cohen, he refused to “break” - make up stories in order to get a “deal.” Such respect for a brave man!
A large number of counts, ten, could not even be decided in the Paul Manafort case. Witch Hunt!"
Oh, poor brave good Manafort.
That is Trump for you, soft and smooth on the outside. Butt, crunchy on the inside.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Wednesday that there is “no discussion or consideration” of presidential pardons for former aides Paul Manafort and Michael Flynn.

Fox News Host Ainsley Earhardt said Wednesday night on the network's “Hannity” that President Trump told her he was considering a pardon for his former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort.
Earhardt had an exclusive interview with the president, which will air Thursday morning on “Fox & Friends.”
Lies, spin and chaos.
Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team was one holdout juror away from convicting Paul Manafort on all 18 counts of bank and tax fraud, juror Paula Duncan told Fox News in an exclusive interview Wednesday.
“It was one person who kept the verdict from being guilty on all 18 counts,” Duncan, 52, said.
Duncan described herself as an avid supporter of President Trump, but said she was moved by four full boxes of exhibits provided by Mueller’s team – though she was skeptical about prosecutors' motives in the financial crimes case.
“Finding Mr. Manafort guilty was hard for me, I wanted him to be innocent, I really wanted him to be innocent, but he wasn’t,” Duncan said.
Get him now , I mean KETCHUP ! Why not one more reason for impeachment ,# 189 coming forward .

All of the available evidence seems to say so.Here is a workable definition of a coups d'état as an "organized effort to effect sudden and irregular (e.g., illegal or extra-legal) removal of the incumbent executive authority of a national government, or to displace the authority of the highest...

The latest sentence, handed down by U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson in Washington, D.C., federal court, was for 73 months in connection with Manafort's guilty plea related to foreign lobbying and witness tampering. But Jackson ordered a portion to be served concurrently with a 47-month...

This should be a hot one. The much anticipated Special Counsel's first indictments have been unsealed - and they aren't about Pres. Trump and Russian election collusion, (yet???)But like a lyric from a song; 'whoo eee, whoo eee babyyy...' It sure paints an ugly picture. And one that seems to be a...

Paul Manafort--already in deep doo doo--is in further jeopardy because of his repeated lies to Robert Mueller's investigators after he signed an agreement to cooperate with the probe. He seems to be betting all of his chips on a pardon from Trump by breaking the deal. The reasons for Mueller's move...
