I am asking a serious question. In recent years, we have been bombarded with a slew of news or “fake news” by the main stream media. Now, we can’t seem to trust any sources. When the NYT publish an anonymous Op Ed piece attacking a sitting president and they think it is OK, something drastically is wrong here. Why do, we the people, put up with this? We should be using our pocket books and drive these businesses out. I don’t care if you are left, right or center, you must agree with me that a miss-trusted media undermines our Democracy. We are under assault and why is more people not outraged by this?

The simple way to think about this is -
Ask yourself, would the NYT do a similar story on President Obama? HELL NO.

HELL No is right because unlike the orange traitor now polluting our oval office temporarily, President Obama never sabotaged our healthcare system, he never cowered to Vladimir Putin while betraying the United States, he never passed a corporate welfare tax cut scam that transferred trillions of our wealth to the greediest and richest free loaders among us and he never sabotaged or insulted great American heroes like John McCain and our law enforcement:

I won’t respond to Jake since we have had run ins in the past on these forum. He is exactly the people I am talking about. He and others, have so much hatred for Trump, they are willing to risk our liberty and our democratic process and fairness to adance their agenda. How sick is that? To what end?

There is no need to respond. Skewed information, specifically presented in an emotional manner, can only be attributed to a paid to post fake persona.

Just FYI: The overwhelming majority of Americans typically find it very easy to hate a dangerous, deranged disgraceful treacherous individual like Bozo Trump who is sabotaging our healthcare, giving vast trunks of our wealth to the richest greed mongers who don't need it while we still have millions homeless without health insurance and in dire financial situations, constantly undermines our law enforcement and intelligence agencies, insults American heroes while licking the boots of Vladimir Putin, advocates for alleged child molesters for senate and the list of disgusting, evil and unholy atrocities this orange fool has already perpetrated is nearly endless:

With his cratering poll numbers and a rapidly shrinking republican party, anyone who could possibly still be suckered into supporting this paranoid angry weirdo should have a serious consultation with their souls:

Very easy to hate a pathetic poor excuse for a fool who does this: Look at the faces of the crowd in back of him, they're shocked and appalled, does anyone think they actually went out and voted for him after this shameful display of retardation??

Hi jackclee, despite our past run-ins, and speaking specifically to your point about the New York Times publishing this anonymous Op-ed. I agree. It was a very biased thing to do, and as such I think they diminished the credibility of both themselves, and, the Op-ed author. (assuming there is any credibility there)

It is just too convenient - coming on top of the Woodward news,  to be accepted without reservation.

... apparently they are adjusting their content toward liberal readership. Apparently they don't feel the need to appeal to conservative-leaning readers. Maybe they (owners of the NY Times) are getting compensated some other way, by someone(s) else???

This Just in via Forum-rider, Jake. (His picture-portrait says it all wink)

    President Trump ...
    Is polluting our oval office.
    Has sabotaged our healthcare system.
    Cowered to Vladimir Putin.
    Betrayed the United States.
Passed a corporate welfare tax cut scam that transferred trillions of our wealth to the greediest and richest free loaders among us.
Sabotaged or insulted great American heroes like John McCain.
Sabotaged or insulted our law enforcement.

The details or facts should be considered.

    Dear Jake: Questions for you:

    1. How Is Trump "POLLUTING" the oval office exactly? Throwing trash around, missing the trash basket, harassing interns?

    2. How is he "SABOTAGING" a healthcare system which the people did not vote for and which unconstitutionally FINED them for not having Health Care insurance?

    3. In what way exactly did he "COWER" to Vladimir Putin?

    4. How exactly did he "BETRAY" the United States?

    5. Correction: He did not "pass a corporate welfare tax cut scam that transferred trillions of our wealth to the greediest and richest "FREE LOADERS" among us."

All taxpayers received a tax cut, including corporations, as though they were individuals. Is there something wrong with stimulating the economy and letting the people who earn the wealth, keep it and re-invest it?

After all, the more employees that are hired, the more tax payers there are. YOU should be happy about that!!!!!

    6.  How is Confusing Mc Cain a "GREAT" American hero?

    7. How has trump "SABOTAGED" or "INSULTED" the law enforcement?

... or are you talking about Obama's illegal regulations/executive orders that Trump dismissed  because they shut down the economy (by over-regulating businesses) for eight years?

FYI (Wikipedia): "The paper is owned by The New York Times Company, which is publicly traded but primarily controlled by the Ochs-Sulzberger family through a dual-class share structure. It has been owned by the family since 1896; A.G. Sulzberger, the paper's publisher, and his father, Arthur Ochs Sulzberger Jr., the company's chairman, are the fourth and fifth generation of the family to helm the paper.

Nicknamed "The Gray Lady", The New York Times has long been regarded within the industry as a national "newspaper of record".

The paper's motto, "All the News That's Fit to Print", appears in the upper left-hand corner of the front page.

Since the mid-1970s, The New York Times has greatly expanded its layout and organization, adding special weekly sections on various topics supplementing the regular news, editorials, sports, and features. Since 2008, The New York Times has been organized into the following sections: News, Editorials/Opinions-Columns/Op-Ed, New York (metropolitan), Business, Sports of The Times, Arts, Science, Styles, Home, Travel, and other features. On Sunday, The New York Times is supplemented by the Sunday Review (formerly the Week in Review), The New York Times Book Review, The New York Times Magazine and T: The New York Times Style Magazine. The New York Times stayed with the broadsheet full-page set-up and an eight-column format for several years after most papers switched to six,] and was one of the last newspapers to adopt color photography, especially on the front page."
