For drugging and  sexually abusing dozens of women ?    While you guys worry about a 40 year old frat party ?  ...........like they always say , "I'm in the wrong business !"

Cosby (as far as I know) has no connections to President Trump.  Kavanaugh does, even if it is only being the best judge Trump could find.  Case closed.

Right. Nothing is wrong with accusations of sexual assault and now gang rape at a "frat party" by someone who is being nominated to the Supreme Court.

      We should just ignore them.

Until corroborating evidence is produced, yes.  They should be ignored.

At least if you subscribe to the quaint idea of "Innocent until proven guilty"...if your preference is to declare guilt because you don't like someone or they wear a wig, then you will disagree.

Ignore one claim because it's only one? If someone shoots me, I shouldn't file an assault charge just because I'm the only one claiming it?

Otherwise, three witnesses with sworn affidavits equals corroboration.

Evidence matters, to just and fair people. Be thankful they exist. Someday the mob may come after you.

I agree. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty. But three people claiming sexual assault goes beyond he said versus she said.

Not in today's lynch mob environment.

    He was so funny.
I think what happened is that the drugs he administered to his dates allowed Cosby to get away with sexual conquest in a weird demented way, which comes with celebrity ... and hornyness of course. After fifty, a man is less horny ... well, that's what I've heard.
(I've run across many a 70+ year old still inflicted, however ...)

The man has been punished enough already. That is tantamount to life in prison. I feel sorry for him, no matter what his crime. Anything good of his life is lost.

While I would agree, there is also the matter of deterrent (or encouragement) to others.  I'm glad I was not the sentencing judge; not sure I could put a blind man his age in prison for the rest of his life.

I do get that. The judge was between a rock and a hard place. But, the man's entire contribution (both the good and the bad) should be considered.

The punishment which has already been inflicted should be taken into consideration. As heinous as his actions I cannot help but pity him.

The 81-year-old once-revered comedian was found guilty by a jury of sexual assault in April for drugging and molesting Constand, a former Temple University employee, in his Philadelphia home in 2004. He was convicted of three counts of aggravated indecent assault.

Constand’s allegations are the only ones that brought a criminal case against Cosby.

Last night on 'the news,' it was said he'd have to serve 3 years minimum. If he were younger I'd think that too lenient, but for a person his age, I think it is fair. Of course I'm hoping he lives for years to come. Having to register as a sex offender seems to be a terrible thing. I guess I have a bit of a soft spot for the elderly.

You people do realize that all Kavanaugh has to do is sit there like a lump on a log and say "Not Me " and there is nothing any of your ideological commiserating will accomplish ?

And THAT is a real truth .
