Donald Trump: Draft Dodger

    According to a report from the New York Times, the doctor who diagnosed Donald Trump with bone spurs did so as a favor to Fred Trump so Donald could get out of the draft.

      I don't think a person has to have served in the military to be president.  I also don't really mind, that much, if a person can find a reason to avoid the draft, even if it's kind of a lame reason.  Many people don't want to fight in a war.  Who can blame them?  I'm not saying I would respect a person who found a lame reason to get out of fighting while his peers are getting killed; I'm just saying I can understand them doing so.

      What I DO find loathsome is avoiding the draft and lying about it.  Just admit you didn't want to go and found a way to avoid it.  I also find it loathsome for a draft dodger like Trump to insult John McCain and others who did their duty while he slacked.

      Just another reason to disdain an already unlikable person.
