   Try not to allow documented serial liar Donald Trump and his Russian Republicans HOODWINK you into believing they’re against socialism because it’s not true. They simply adore socialism when it’s used to divert OUR money toward their filthy rich donors: Like when CONservative Republicans gave the filthy rich Wall Streeters and weirdo Steve Mnuchin TRILLIONS of OUR money with their Corporate Welfare Scam they recently passed through congress which everyone knows is an abomination, or when Bozo Trump gives farmers BILLIONS of our money to bail them out of Trump’s own tariff war insanity: But when Progressive Dems propose using aspects of socialism to benefit American Workers, Senior Citizens and Young Students Bozo Trump and CONservatives break down and begin to cry profusely, whine like little girls and breakdown in little snowflakey tizzy fits:

         Absolutely Credence2, when you collect taxes as we here in the USA need to do to maintain a solvent, vibrant and functional country, you are automatically engaged in "socialism" and when a country the size of the USA doesn't collect taxes you have no country at all, period:
         
         Bozo Trump and his Communist Russian Republicans are absolutely enamored and giddy with joy when they use socialism to give creepy Steve Mnuchin a few more 10,000 square foot mansions but when we progressives strive to cover all AMERICANS regardless of political affiliation with essential Health-CARE, they turn into Satan's Disciples sabotaging and undermining our healthcare system with their every breath: DESPICABLE:
         
         But angry, dark sick Bozo Trump and his corrupt Communist Russian Republicans are FAILING miserably because even the overwhelming majority of CONservatives are demanding "Medicare for ALL" as they should: It's nothing less than insane and an abomination that the crumbling GOP when they had the majority in 2018, gave trillions of OUR money to the filthy rich elites while we have homeless on the streets, unfortunate souls on welfare and food stamps and of course millions of our brothers and sisters WITHOUT health care: WHERE in the bible can that be found ??

            What is despicable is coercing Americans to do what YOU want them to do, in this case FORCING Americans to leave behind descent insurance policies for policies that are more expensive, with huge deductibles, and then having the gall to penalize Americans that didn't want to participate.  Now THAT'S an abomination.  And as far as the filthy rich go, they'll be rich because of money THEY made - you and me might not agree with how they use that money, but that's their business.
            
            Look at the Bible Jake....where does God guarantee anyone that we'll all have healthcare?  Here's what God guarantees us: John 16:33; Genesis 3:19.  God's not so interested in us being comfortable, but in us seeking Him, and doing His will out of changed hearts - See Mathew 6:33.
            
            The social justice gospel that's making the rounds these days is a corruption of the true gospel.  I'm not suggesting that the conservative movement has ANY hold on the true gospel, neither party nor either movement serves Christ.  It's up to us as individuals to seek Christ.

                  I would rather that wealthy people NOT move money offshore. One difference between us is that you're willing to tell people what they can and can't do with money they earned. The other is that you want to use a perverted gospel to justify it.

                           HealthCare is a Constitutional Right:
                           
                           "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."
                           
                           Here's one part of the Constitution which Bozo Trump commits crimes against probably every day and night and for which he'll be impeached and imprisoned for:
                           
                           "No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State"

      It's a short term feel good solution, which doesn't work long term.  We'll feel the nasty effects within a few years.  But the problem is that there were no tax cuts.  And that didn't happen in large part because the military-industrial complex is leading the country by the nose, for the military budget is where we'd have to make most of the cuts.

         Try telling the Conservative GOP about an idea of cutting military outlays, you won't get far.
         
         There are political considerations as to cutting spending, whose ox get gored and by how much.
         
         It is silly for Republicans to talk about massive budget cuts when they cannot reduce spending and most of that is to come from social programs and even mentioning touching social security and other entitlements amounts to the kiss of death, from much of the people that vote for them and they know it. And they certainly will not touch their precious military establishment and we on the left won't tolerate wholesale gutting of social programs. So, why the exercise in futility?  Ryan did not get too far with his ideas regarding changes to Social Security.

            I agree.  I still have no problem with ANYONE keeping more of what they earned, even the filthy rich.  I want them to be treated the same way I want to be treated - don't steal from me.  The rich have to either choose to do the right things with their wealth or not, but it's not up to us to try to FORCE them to do what we think are the right things.  That's wrong at all levels.
            
            This country has already blown by a crossroad, and is spiritually sick.  It's hopelessly divided into primarily 2 camps that are determined in their own ways.  Darkness is coming.
            
            Likely Credence, I'll be leaving the forums soon.  Should have done it a while ago, but when I saw how Kavanaugh was being treated I was sucked back in.

               There is an over riding  theme that transcends politics, it comes down to the have verses the have nots. While I will acknowledge the Right of the wealthy to drive a bigger car or own a larger house or buy that king size box of Cheerios, this is about inordinate abuse power and influence through lobbies and throughout the corridors of Washington, using their wealth and influence to virtually write laws to their advantage.
               
               How much of their manipulation is over the top? I still blame the shenanigans of the finance industry for the great meltdown of 2008. Who says the Corporate class is paying their fair share with so many off shore options? We can't get the President of the United States, the chief law enforcement officer to be transparent in his behavior and set the example (tax returns).
               
               Christians should show consideration for the poor by not accommodating their exploitation, even if we cannot fill their shopping baskets.
               
               Yes, there are two opposing forces, the danger of consolidating wealth and power in the hands of fewer people guarantee that the middle class will disappear and the resulting discontent will not be contained among the masses to danger of this society.
               
               People speak of encroaching Socialism, I don't see that in America, but I have read of a time during the Gilded age of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, before any safety net, of examples of tenement life in the slums and how quick those that have will exploit others that have not. It seemed so inevitable and natural, with the same kind of Social Darwinism excuses made then that I hear as justification today.
               
               This exploitation is as old as the Pharoahs. While history reveals exploitation as part of the human existence, rather than acquiesce in it, it has to be resisted if for no other reason than to keep peace among the masses.

                     For able bodied adults, should be designed to help those temporarily in trouble with an ultimate goal of gainful employment.
                     
                     I read that what could in reality be considered entitlements is 6 percent of the federal, I could find that much as waste in DOD outlays without looking too hard.
