President Trump has stated he thinks the report should be released to the public in its entirety. AG Barr has already said he wants as much of it made public as possible.
NBC is reporting, "Unless Mueller files a detailed indictment charging members of the Trump campaign with conspiring with Russia, the public may never learn the full scope of what Mueller and his team has found"
The law states, "At the conclusion of the Special Counsel's work, he or she shall provide the Attorney General with a confidential report explaining the prosecution or declination decisions reached by the Special Counsel."
Mueller has filed charges against 34 people and secured convictions of some of Trump's key former advisers. But none of the charges have accused anyone in Trumpworld of conspiring with the Russian intelligence operation to help Trump get elected in 2016. Nor has Mueller made any allegation that the president is compromised by Russia.
What are your thoughts?
Release the conclusions of the report, but not the investigative details.I would be fine with an AG summary of the report's findings.
GA
This is one time that I agree with Trump. Release the report; the public has a right to know where the money has been spent on an investigation and why certain people have been indicted. They also have the right to know what involvement the president may or may not have played in causing this investigation in the first place. I'm sure there is a better purpose than just giving subject matter to CNN and Fox News to fill air time.
Release the entire report. We've heard too much he said she said for years now. I want the full report.
