The rich teach their children to create rules & their own destiny. They further inculcate their children that they are masters & that the world is their oyster. The middle class teach their children to be mere obedient automatons who follow other's rules & to be moderately successful, never to think too big. The poor teach their children that nothing matters in life. They indoctrinate their children to accept what life hands them & to be slaves. Your thoughts? Agree or disagree?
There are exceptions to every thing you say. Some rich people have children who become lazy good-for-nothings because they were spoiled, coddled and allowed to feel entitled. They never learned independence and remain completely dependent on their rich parents their entire lives. Some, from poor families work hard to lift themselves out of poverty and become very successful. Brie Larson is an example of this phenomenon. The middle class generally ends up becoming more successful than their parents. They seem to have the best lives in that they know balance and do not go overboard. The rich easily instill blind ruthless ambition in their offspring. Many kids who take over (are given) their parents' businesses are cold-hearted and care nothing for the employees, even though these employees were loyal and dedicated workers for the father. These kid-bosses drive the latest BMWs and lord over everyone with huge arrogance. I have seen it.
In conclusion, every person is their own person. Perhaps they can be easily indoctrinated, but the luckiest ones have a mind of their own and use it to their own advantage.
Helping our children have a mind of their own is the real challenge.

Is religion taught from birth a form of brainwashing? If you teach a child from birth a particular religion, is this not brainwashing? Would that child discover that religion on their own if it's something they weren't taught?
