         Trump is already claiming Executive privilege for the campaign, the transition, and Hicks time in the WH. I don't think he has a chance on the first two. He's simply playing for time in the courts.

            He may be playing for time Randy, but I think that tactic will fail. I don't think he will have any more support for his declarations than that of "they're out to get me."
            
            I don't think his base is large enough to get him reelected. I am curious to see Ms. Hick's testimony.
            
            ps. Of course, as a white male dinosaur, I am rooting for her because she is so damn attractive. I ain't dead and Jimmy Carter nailed it.

      Just a delay tactic and nothing more. The legal scholars say it's a sure thing in the courts Hicks and others will have to answer many of the questions asked of them.
      
      I'm about ready for Nancy to get off of her ass and start impeachment hearings. Anyone else? We cannot let this cretin get away with breaking the law so "glibly" as Shar is wont to say...

   I believe it was in an article today that said she was "tight lipped" and not answering questions about her time in the White House. White House lawyer Pat Cipollone sent a letter to Nadler stating the Hicks could not legally be required to talk about her time in the Trump Administration.  More obstruction from the Right.

   Yes Jake, although Hicks had almost half a dozen lawyers there to object to the majority of the questions, even one form the AG's office. Seems like a lot of lawyers if there's nothing to hide.
   
   But we already knew Trump's terrified of what Hicks may eventually tell congress.

   After Hick's testimony--or lack of it--congress is encouraged the court will see the reasons for ruling against Trump's unlawful use of executive privilege for what it isn't supposed to cover.
   
   
   Hopefully the courts will expedite the ruling and both Hicks and McGann will have to testify.
