In my opinion, We the People must get on board to stop corruption in all its forms in order to halt the overwhelming and ignorant rush toward socialism.

AOC knows the consequences of corruption occurring from Wall Street to Washington. Rules against monopolies are not being enforced, backroom deals are being made, loopholes are being taken advantage of, bailouts have been issued ... wealth gives tremendous power to individual people and monopolistic corporations. Competition is removed, as prices rise along with political sway/influence. But, she wants to implement socialism to counter unequal and unfair wealth acquisition.  Her words appeal greatly, to the ignorant.

NO! yikes! We simply (or not so simply) need to stop the corruption.

The question is HOW can we????

There is a saying that the darkest hour is just before day and if there is any truth in that then this must be the day breaking of this world's end. Since people are not in control of anything on earth except our own lives, all I can say is let us prepare to discarnate or, if there is any truth to there is everlasting life, prepare to go there.

Elijah, if you want to look at it from a religious or spiritual viewpoint, then according to spiritual teachings outside the bible, this rise of corruption worldwide is the last desperate attempt of evil to dominate this world. If you look at it from a religious viewpoint, the prediction of false prophets has come true. False prophets don't have to be preachers or people purporting to be "men of god". They can be greedy, lying businessmen, corporate executives, etc. telling us that what's good for them is good for us, too. (Remember the song from Li'l Abner, "What's Good for General Bullmoose is Good for the USA"?
And from both the spiritual and religious (biblical) viewpoint, in the end good will prevail over evil. So, while we need to be thinking about our eternal life, we need to be working hard so cooler unselfish heads can prevail over the hotheads of both fascists and socialists.

So well said, MizB!!! Every attempt to explain how what is at hand is yet very far in the future is a false prophet if my interpretations are true. We can't know it they are unless I fulfill Revelation 5:5 & 12. According to the Gospels Jesus obtained Gold at birth, demonstrated great wisdom at 12 and demonstrated power during his teachings which means he isn't who we are looking for.

President Bill Clinton signed the Financial Services Modernization Act, commonly known as Gramm-Leach-Bliley, which effectively neutralized Glass-Steagall by repealing key components of the act.

President Clinton said the legislation would “enhance the stability of our financial services system” by permitting financial firms to “diversify their product offerings and thus their sources of revenue” and make financial firms “better equipped to compete in global financial markets.”

Thanks for the responses, Nature Boy and Mz. Bejabbers. Maybe we can flood the emails of our representatives requesting that they pinpoint corruption and stand for holding lawbreakers accountable wherever possible. Maybe we can choose to bring forth morality by behaving rightly. Perhaps we can stand up for truth and justice whenever and wherever we can. We need to amp up whatever is good and right. We need to be healthy, happy, strong, brave and truthful ...
and teach our children to be the same.

KLH, we should flood our Representatives and Senators with an explanation of the Constitution that reveals there are not to be parties, We The People are their governors rather than they being ours, any and every act of Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes (Felony) and Misdemeanors are impeachable acts. So anyone from any of the three branches who fails to fulfill any part of the Constitution is impeachable for ignoring or not knowing it.

Also how Amendments 1 and 10 allows We The People to do it since the city, state nor federal governments are following the constitution in their elections because there is not any room in the constitution for Political Parties.

We need to appreciate the good things Trump is doing, such as strengthening the military and facilitating a percolating economy. We need to appreciate his love for America and his efforts at positive foreign relations, especially with Israel. He does not "hate the jews" as my liberal friends declare. He must constantly counteract the negative political strategies set forth by Obama and the New Liberalism. We need to shut down that movement.

Obama and the New Liberalism are behind the internet-fueled crush which promotes hatred of our President. Where would we be without Donald Trump at he helm? He willingly stepped in to help America ...
and he does so, not for his own gain, but to reverse the nation's course toward its demise, set forth during Obama's presidency.

Katheryn, I just don't agree with you on what Trump has done for this country nor what you say Obama did. My problem with Obama was that he sometimes was indecisive, he was also very strong at getting health insurance for the masses under the Affordable Care Act. I am very disappointed that he did not follow through with cracking down on big pharma and big insurance companies. Conservatives do equate getting people health care with socialism, and it may be a move in that direction, but he was not a radical Democrat Socialist like Bernie, AOC, et al.
Trump on the other hand, has made this country the laughing stock of the world. He pals around with dictators like Putin and Kim Jung Un, and brags about what good buddies they are, all the while, they are laughing behind his back. By his own admission, he took us to within 10 minutes of war. He has done nothing to get to the bottom of Russian interference in our elections (his cronies like his AG are still trying to cover it up), at at the same time, there is appearance that they are doing the same thing to Britain. The world needs our strength, not our isolation.
To write my congressmen is just pissing in the wind. They, especially bigmouth Senator Tom Cotton, are a party to this wannabe dictator. I will do my job by casting my vote against the whole lot of them at the ballot box. Here's hoping that Russia doesn't interfere with my vote.
