You decide and discuss if you are so inclined.

Rather than dredge up the Wikipedia encyclopedic definition, I called upon an article from the Christian Science Monitor, known for its fair and objective reporting, to cut to the chase

I am taken by how much this has spread among the populace and responsible politicians even receiving a nod for President Trump, himself.

It does sound crazy. I was surprised by Pres. Trump's answer to the QAnon question.

But, let's add to the conspiracy, a sub-conspiracy: QAnon isn't really about Satanic child predators, that is just a guise to make its enemies think they have common sense on their side and chase the wrong rabbit. "Satanic child predators, really? You believe that? That's just silly."

QAnon believers know this and just chuckle at Q's detractors. They know Q is really about the fight against the New World Order and the power of The 7.

I dunno, Cred: it all sounds very much like "Trump colluded with Russia to throw the election!", or "Trump bans all travel by Muslims!", "911 was a government plot!" or even "Kavanaugh raped that woman!", just from the other side of the fence.  You could throw in the "Obama was not born in the US!", switching sides again.

This kind of nonsense will never end; with the freedom of the internet to post anything you like, true or false, we're all responsible for separating wheat from chaff.

Wilderness is right. Both sides have their crazy conspiracy theories. The ones he mentioned from the left have gained much more traction and even duped the main stream news media.

But, the question of being a serious threat is interesting. I heard a left leaning Twitter user asked what people considered the greatest threat to democracy. An overwhelming 80 some percent identified Antifa while less than 20 percent said Qanon.
