In one of Joe Biden's recent campaign ads, he uses the fact that Disney has laid off thousands of employees, and insinuates that it's Trump's fault and how none of it would have happened under his watch.

Personally I think it's bad taste to use the Disney layoffs or any layoffs for political gain but I guess all's fair in love and war.  Or in this case, a general presidential election.    What are your thoughts?   Is this ad in bad taste on Joe Biden's part?  Or smart political strategy to highlight Trump's incompetence?   Please discuss.  Oh also here's the link to the political ad in question that's sponsored by Joe Biden

This ad is in terrible taste. This isn't love or war. It is the lives of we the people of this country we love, and that the liberals are trying to turn into a 3rd world country with their lies and hate end disrespect for the president of our country. Trump had this country on it's way back to being strong until the Covid came along and the the other virus we have been fighting called the "far left liberal/socialist democrats. Anyway, that's my say.

It is not in bad taste to talk about a massive layoff in a major corporation during an election year (or any other time, for that matter).

It IS in extreme poor taste to insinuate it is an opponents fault, particularly when the cause (a virus) is worldwide and layoffs are common throughout the world.  If it is Trump's fault then every leader in the world is to blame for layoffs from a pandemic virus.

It is really pathetic that Democrats are trying to lay this virus at Trump's feet, and doubly so as we see riots in Europe over the same thing - they, too, are seeing the same spike in cases that we are, so blaming Trump for not taking the same steps they did (which he cannot legally do) is really stupid.  Or rhetoric designed for stupid people, maybe.

True.  Pretty much most of the world leaders botched the pandemic situation when you think about it.
