Judges appointed by former President Trump have stymied President Biden's policies on multiple fronts early on in his administration.

Biden's ‘pen and phone’ initiatives are running into real pushback due to legal trouble. Trump-appointed a record number of judges, and these Judges aren’t as deferential to executive power as past Republican-appointed judges were.

One must keep in mind --- it's early in the Biden administration with many court cases against other Biden policies yet to be decided.  – and the decisions against the president could be overturned by higher courts. However,  Trump-appointed judges have ruled against the president on immigration, COVID relief, the environment, and more.

Most recently, Trump-appointed Judge Terry Doughty of the Western District of Louisiana implemented a nationwide injunction on the Biden administration's "pause" on new oil and gas leases.  Stating that President Biden does not have the authority to overrule laws requiring the administration to sell those leases.

In another instance, former Trump Supreme Court shortlisted  Judge Amul Thapar put an injunction on an element of the coronavirus stimulus law that used race and sex to prioritize which restaurant owners could get government aid.

"This case is about whether the government can allocate limited coronavirus relief funds based on the race and sex of the applicants. We hold that it cannot," Thapar wrote.
One of the first cases of a Trump-appointed judge's ruling against the Biden administration, however, came when District Judge Drew Tipton issued an indefinite injunction on the deportation moratorium the president ordered shortly after assuming office.

Separately, Trump-appointed D.C. District Judge Dabney Fredrich ruled last month that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) moratorium on evictions was unlawful and vacated it, although she did stay her own ruling to give the government time to appeal.

It would appear in my view that President Trump's judges have shown an unwavering commitment to the rule of law and upholding the Constitution, so it's not surprising to see opinions reining in Biden's executive overreach.

Those are not the only Biden policies that have been stopped in the court. Judge William Griesbach, a George W. Bush appointee, halted the coronavirus relief bill's loan forgiveness targeted specifically at minority farmers earlier this month.

"Indeed, Congress can implement race-neutral programs to help farmers and ranchers in need of financial assistance," he continued. "But it cannot discriminate on the basis of race." Judge William Griesbach

It would seem Biden does not understand what actual power he has and does not have in regard to executive Orders, and is piling up court cases against his administration. It also well appears the Biden administration may need to brush up on the Constitution or perhaps he hopes to chip away at it.

Do you approve of Presidential overreach beyond what our laws allow?
Do you feel Biden is setting a pattern where he is overreaching his authority?
Do you think Biden is seeking to chip away at the Constitution with his pen?

Oh my.  This is not good.  Not good at all.

When judges rule based on law rather than how many tears an issue produces liberals are in a world of trouble.  How can we expect them to accomplish anything if we insist it must be within the framework of the law?

It won't be easy. However, they seem to change reinterpret laws if they get in their way.  You know charge one of a crime, then try to produce evidence to convict.

Or, if they cannot find the evidence to support the claim of a crime, proclaim that in the process of investigating it they got the idea that there was a different crime that must also be investigated.

Given the strategy being used it becomes obvious that they will continue making claims of criminal activity for the rest of Trump's life, and "investigating" for the same period.  No end in sight, for Trump will be their nemesis until the day he dies.

I so needed a good laugh today...  This is all so true. Trump certainly has set the Democrats back on their heels. They are spinning their wheels, and will never be able to dig themselves out of the muck.

Do you think TDS will ever be actually put in a medical book on Psychological diseases?  Will, there be actually recommended therapies developed for those that are affected with TDS?

We already have hospitals for such severe afflictions.  They are called "asylums".  Whether it is curable remains unknown; perhaps a decade or two will suffice, but that is questionable.

Well yes, we will need a very long research study to get to the true causation of TDS. As well as documentation on the various stages and severity of the affliction. And finally, is there really a lasting cure, or will it reoccur without notice throughout the afflicted persons' life span, or until Trump no longer walks the earth?

I expect it will break out here and there long after Trump dies, for his children, spouse and other relatives will still be walking around and that will provide the spark needed for a resurgence.  And God help the nation if one of them, even a third or fourth cousin, should have the absolute gall to enter the political arena!

In his mind, whatever he wants to do is the right thing, based on what we don't really know.
    Is it his religion?
    his sense of justice?
his sense of duty to Chuck and Nancy or China? Who knows. Oh, why and how did he of all people get elected?

I wonder who who have been a better Democrat President?
    (I mean, besides Bernie.)
