Another "Jan 6th Hoax" Speech

Although there is some Jan 6th content in the source of my quoted blurb, I admit the title is clickbait for the most ardent.

The source article's bias is very conservative, and many of its claims are very debatable, (they are the opinion of the speaker, not a claim accepted as fact), and you might want to read it to get the context of the blurb, but for the intent of my OP I don't think more is necessary. I am not addressing the right or wrong about any of the Jan 6th details. I simply ask the question of whether one sees any truth in the quote's claim.

From The January 6 Insurrection Hoax

"That’s one melancholy lesson of the January 6 insurrection hoax: that America is fast mutating from a republic, in which individual liberty is paramount, into an oligarchy, in which conformity is increasingly demanded and enforced.

Another lesson was perfectly expressed by Donald Trump when he reflected on the unremitting tsunami of hostility that he faced as President. “They’re after you,” he more than once told his supporters. “I’m just in the way.”

    See any truth in that?

If you would have asked these very questions a couple of months ago, my answer would have been different. Yes, it is clear a few months ago that America was fast mutating from a republic, in which individual liberty is paramount, into an oligarchy, in which conformity is increasingly demanded and enforced. Today,  a large part of our society is "over" the BS, and pushing back.

"They’re after you,” he more than once told his supporters. “I’m just in the way.”

IMO -- Never a statement so true. Just look at the rush of this administration to "kill" all that was Trump.   His sentiment is very evidenced today, one need only turn on the News and listen closely.

A well written article by someone with the ability to weave an assortment of facts laid out over several years into a semblance of the real story.

Of course, it is absolutely critical to the Democratic Party narrative that the January 6 incident be made to seem as violent and crazed as possible. Hence the comparisons to 9/11, Pearl Harbor, and the Civil War. Only thus can pro-Trump Americans be excluded from “our democracy” by being branded as “domestic extremists” if not, indeed, “domestic terrorists.”

As the years go by, historians, if the censors allow them access to the documents and give them leave to publish their findings, may well count the 2016 presidential election as the last fair and open democratic election in U.S. history. I know we are not supposed to say that. I know that the heads of Twitter and Facebook and other woke guardians of the status quo call this view “The Big Lie” and do all they can to suppress it. But every honest person knows that the 2020 election was tainted.

Among the many sobering realities that the 2020 election brought home is that in our current and particular form of oligarchy, the people do have a voice, but it is a voice that is everywhere pressured, cajoled, shaped, and bullied. The people also have a choice, but only among a roster of candidates approved by the elite consensus.

The central fact to appreciate about Donald Trump is that he was elected president without the permission, and over the incredulous objections, of the bipartisan oligarchy that governs us. That was his unforgivable offense. Trump was the greatest threat in history to the credentialed class and the globalist administrative state upon which they feed.

I suspect Mr. Kimball's ability to spread his observations will be muted soon enough.

My world must be so different than the political and Religious world. Only find them the source of most of the serious problems. Ignore them and they loose their powers. Or we will end up doing this again allowing more great abuse throughout human history. Soon in a couple of years, we will be changing the power to the People as usual. Rather than more centralized organizations that always required slaves to support them.

I read your comments about the article and thought okay a fair warning. Then skimmed the article realizing reading was not necessary for the blurb you posted. So, said 'nah'.

      The blurb;

""That’s one melancholy lesson of the January 6 insurrection hoax: that America is fast mutating from a republic, in which individual liberty is paramount, into an oligarchy, in which conformity is increasingly demanded and enforced."

Realizing the beginning of it, "That's one melancholy lesson of January 6 insurrection hoax" is pretty much political in my view I did not consider it.

My first thought is emphatically, yes, liberty is paramount and threatened, yet think it did arrive well before Jan 6th at least with my life experience and knowledge to this date while still learning with an open mind. And, is instituted and enforced by both sides of the fence hinting toward opposing oligarchies.

For me the greatest examples for today is #1) mandating vaccines by both government and business and #2) abortion. I realize others can be found or shown and is debatable.

I find no reason to comment on the second paragraph.

Ha! I view the article similarly and tried to leave any hoax ideas or specific politicians out of the intent of my OP. That was an impossible task because those were so prominent in the article and current politics. I was only interested in the last blurb paragraph—which you found no reason to address.

It is the recent `school board meetings' controversy that prompted me to consider that last paragraph. Put any president's name in place of Trump's and consider the quoted statement's thought; The opposition isn't after me because I am me, they are after me because I represent you, I am their target to get to you.

To be clear, I do understand that is an expected anti-Democrat/Liberal Republican and conservative perspective. But I don't feel I fit that mindset, so to see that statement and feel a sense of agreement gave me pause.

It will be hard to explain my thoughts on this school board issue without sounding like a Republican partisan, which I am not. My question is simply why the Federal government is getting involved, (just look at the picture painted by the DOJ's memos and statements; the FBI and a couple of other agencies will form a task force and dedicate resources, and establish hotlines etc. — as presented by the media and documents)?

As with any political issue, the extreme fringes should be discounted. The woman in the gorilla mask is no more representative of the Left than the idiot that makes comments like "I hope you eat the end of a shotgun." is representative of the Right.

If you can discount the extremes then we are left with flaring tempers from concerned parents and citizens. I am not giving them a pass on their behavior, but I certainly don't think they are domestic terrorists—which is the description used by the national organization that complained to the DOJ, or white extremists.

Then, (look out, arguable partisan rhetoric coming), combine that perception with the anti-Trump supporter rhetoric of then and now, (Maxine Waters' and her fellow Democrats' statements, etc.), add in recent pejorative statements about the unvaccinated, shake well with the FBI getting involved against angry parents, and it looks like there might be something to think about in that blurb's statement.

The suggestion to substitute any president while thinking any politician opened a door for me. I am sure for presidents historical evidence can be found from Washington through Biden.

I plead ignorance on the school board issue so had to look into it. I am familiar with San Diego City council meetings and etc. I do have a bias though. My sister-in-law is a school district superintendent. Over the family get-together of July 4th I cornered her sharing my empathy for probably pulling her hair out since covid began and recently CRT. Anyway, she did share she has received death threats. That angered me and I have contempt for those extremist idiots.

I am solid on not spending federal resources on investagating threats and harassment or a special task force. Yet, I do feel the FBI should be involved with educating school teachers, principals, superintendents, and school board members of things like what is credible and how to document incidents. I say let the state/local law enforcement do the investigating if deemed worthy/necessary. As far as the label of being a terrorist I don't go along with that, though they do provoke fear.

The author gave effort to explain the why's of what you are seeing:

" Trump was the greatest threat in history to the credentialed class and the globalist administrative state upon which they feed.

The Credentialed class ... aka The Establishment ... aka The Swamp

The Globalist Admistrative State... aka WTO... IMF... WB... UN... etc.
Authors of Agenda 2021, Agenda 2030, Compact on Migration...

Those making the decisions for America are no longer the American Voters, the mistake of 2016 will never be repeated again in our lifetimes, of this you can be certain.

The U.N.’s 26th Climate Change Conference, known as COP26, will be held in Glasgow, Scotland at the end of this month and is expected to draw big names including Pope Francis and Queen Elizabeth II, as well as international heads of state, such meetings as these are where the decisions about where our country (and the world at large) is going are being made, the politicians in DC are merely the executors of their will.

When you understand and accept this reality, then why the Federal government is getting involved in these matters, and its decisions that seemingly go against everything you believe this Country stands for, makes complete sense.

Failing to understand this, believing that the politicians currently in control be they Senators, Representatives or in the Executive Office serve the American people or ideals on which this Nation was founded, can lead to great consternation.
