    Governments under the control of African liberation fighters, has a huge support to the actions undertaken by Russian. The motive behind is the hatred between Africans and Westerners. They wish if westerners lose their influential in the global control, exploitation of Africans will be limited. Thereby Russia should have succeed to stop Nato and US

    The Americans have also been viewed very poorly in Southeast Asia and the general refrain is that America cannot be trusted and most people in Southeast Asia don't want to rely on America. President Duterte even wanted to scrap the defense pact with the USA. The abandoning of Afghanistan is a big factor and many people ask why they are so interested in Ukraine when they could not support the  Afghan people.

      Thank you, as I have suspected that such is the case. Regardless of American bravado, we simply do not have enough military power to support everyone all of the time. Lessons we should have learned as long ago as Korea or Vietnam.

    It's a lesson that Britain learned to its cost a long time ago. Unfortunately, we never learn in the West. It's interesting that China, for example, takes a completely different approach.

      Yeah, China approach is world control through infrastructure deals with nations in exchange for territorial or other economic concession. The new world struggle is one based on economics and not military might.

      That is why I never saw China as an ally with Russia, as China being seen as associating with Putin and invasions has to be bad for business and undermines their totally different approach.
