   6:49 pm: Putin cannot remain in power, Biden says
   Russian President Vladimir Putin could not remain in power, and his war against Ukraine has been a strategic failure for Moscow, Biden said on Saturday.
   
   "For God's sake, this man cannot remain in power," Biden told a crowd in Warsaw. Biden also said the Russia-Ukraine war, now in its second month, had united the West, adding that NATO was a defensive alliance which never sought Russia's demise.
   
   7:25 pm: Lviv mayor reports further strike
   Lviv, some 60 kilometres (40 miles) from the Polish border, has so far escaped the bombardment and fighting that has devastated some Ukrainian cities closer to Russia since Moscow launched its invasion.
   
   But on Saturday Governor Maksym Kozytskyy said two rockets had struck the city's eastern outskirts in the mid-afternoon and ordered residents to take shelter.
   
   Later, Mayor Andriy Sadoviy said there had been another strike. "One more rocket strike on Lviv," he said in an online post.
   
   7:49 pm: Kremlin spokesman dismisses Biden comment on Putin not staying in power
   The Kremlin's chief spokesman dismissed Biden's remark that Vladimir Putin "cannot remain in power," saying Russians choose who their leader should be.
   
   Asked about Biden's comment, spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Reuters: "That's not for Biden to decide. The president of Russia is elected by Russians." A White House official said Biden, who was speaking in Warsaw, had not been calling for regime change in Russia.

   Joe Biden is not seeking "regime change" in Russia, the White House said, after the US president declared in a major speech that Vladimir Putin "cannot stay in power".

   8:20 pm: Lviv saw 'huge plume of black smoke'
   "The residents all around were staring at this huge plume of black smoke rising from the city, coming from the northeastern," FRANCE 24's Catherine Norris-Trent reported from Lviv in the video below.
   
   "There have been several air raid sirens ringing out around the city with announcements telling people to get into bomb shelters, so it's a change here because the strikes this afternoon hit the fuel depot around 5 km from the city centre -- so a pretty significant development in Lviv, which has seen several incidents but on the outskirts and around the wider region."
   
   9:21 pm: Kyiv says US has 'no objections' to Poland supplying war planes
   Ukraine said  that the US does not object to the transfer of war planes to Kyiv to help it fend off the Russian invasion, after the Pentagon previously rejected a "high risk" offer from Poland.
   
   Officials in Washington "have no objections to the transfer of aircrafts. As far as we can conclude, the ball is now on the Polish side. We will look further into this matter in our conversations with Polish colleagues," Ukraine Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said in written comments.
   
   9:44 pm: Russian forces are firing at Kharkiv's nuclear research facility
   Russian forces are firing at a nuclear research facility in the city of Kharkiv, the Ukrainian parliament said in a Twitter post on Saturday.
   
   "It is currently impossible to estimate the extent of damage due to hostilities that do not stop in the area of the nuclear installation," the post quoted the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate as saying."

   It's unfortunate I needed to take my source from an outlet in France.
   
   Note I offered a source.  I have added this link in hopes some here will take the time and read it., and share their view.   I would never, add such a comment without offering a source. In my view, the timeline is provocative and has not as of yet been reported by American news outlets.  Hopefully, some US journalists will report this timeline. Hopefully, some here will read this article, and follow the timeline of events that occurred in regard to Biden's statement. Hopefully, some will take the time to share their thoughts.
   
   I feel this timeline of events provokes many lines of discussion. Why have we not been availed of this timeline?  Does Biden pose a danger to our security?  Did the people of Ukraine suffer unduly due to Biden's derogatory inflammatory remark? Have I missed anything?

   I wish that Biden could do a little meditating and figure out that he needs to cut the puppet strings. Get some scissors and for once, in his long life, THINK FOR HIMSELF!
   
   Perhaps if we visualize him cutting the puppet strings, all of us, as often as possible ...  he could locate his common sense, conscience and sense of reality.
   
   Visualize Scissors!!!!
   Visualize the light!
   Pray for our leader/president.
   He was valued for his calmness, diplomacy and sincerity.
   Let his potential for good manifest.
   
   Sigh.

   Joe is in over his head. Blame the puppeteers for everything going on about him. I feel utterly sorry for him and especially for the woman he is married to. She must be suffering more than we know. I blame OBAMA. He is touch with his will. Biden has lost his.
   
   For instance I do not believe Joe would have agreed to nominate to KBJ, if left to his own devices.

   What does the timeline have to do with it? What he said is really not that significant in the overall view because Putin knows exactly what he is dealing with. He is probably rather amused as though dealing with a five year old. He just wants the riches of Ukraine and won't stop til he gets them. I predict he will eventually realize his ambitions.
   
   Meanwhile, we have this nice wallet-fattening war going on, (for much longer than Putin bargained for, one can surmise.)
   
   Whose wallets are being filled, is what I don't know.

   Two or more rockets strike the Eastern outskirts of Lviv, Ukraine, located 40 miles from the Polish border. (Lviv is the largest city in Western Ukraine and the sixth-largest city in Ukraine overall, with a population of 717,510 and is one of the main cultural centers of Ukraine.)
   
   Sat. 7:49 pm:
   A Kremlin spokesman dismisses Biden's comment/call for a regime change (?) by stating that Russians elect their leaders.
   
   Sat. 8:20 pm: 
   The people of Lviv see plumes of black smoke. They hear air-raid sirens and announcements calling for people to find their way to bomb shelters.

   Bottom line: During the next four hours, after President Biden's blathering comment, air strikes in Lviv and attacks on the nuclear research facility in Kharkiv occurred.

      I found the timeline intriguing. This past week Biden made many uncalled-for provocative statements. It is just my opinion, but I feel his mentation is getting worse.

    I posted this over on the other forum but I'll repost here.
    
    My issue with the timeline and potential correlation to President Biden's words would be the lightening fast communication that would have had to occur between Putin & those on the ground in Ukraine.
    There have been numerous reports of the myriad of communication difficulties the Russian troops are experiencing. It seems that many don't use an encrypted phone service but came in relying on commercial service and even their own cell phones. But Russians  attacked the 3g towers, therefore crippling communication further. There are now reports of Russian military seizing civilian phones.
    "We have no communication. We have no walkie-talkies. Nothing," a bedraggled Russian soldier tells his interrogators in a video published by Ukrainian defenders this month and posted to YouTube.
    "Such statements, along with intercepted chatter, captured equipment, and images of cheap, handheld transceivers, suggest that an inability to communicate  up and down the chain of command and across branches of the Russian military  is impeding Moscow's war plans."
    
    No doubt that bombings were happening but I'm not sure that they have the communication and coordination, logistical planning  to coincide with President Biden's words. Current reports have Russian loosing up to 15 of their generals. Which, I understand is unheard of.  Seems to be that while the Russians have superior firepower, their Army, including its central command, is inept. Just a thought.

    Just picked up this statement from Gen. Kellogg ---  "KEITH KELLOGG: What he said is foolish. Somebody ought to grab him in the Oval Office and say, you need to understand, Mr. President, there's a war going on. Innocent people are dying, cities are being ravaged and destroyed. And your words do matter. … It's very important when it comes to national security. Always look through your opponent's eyes, look through his lens. When you say things, what is he going to get? What kind of reaction you're going to get? I remember with President Trump when we were in the Oval Office, when we were talking to adversaries, we would talk to Kim Jong-un as an example. He was very cautious in his comments, and I challenge anybody to go back and look at what he said about it. He would be pretty hard on our allies. But when it came to Putin or when it came to Kim Jong-un or came to Xi, he was very circumspect when he talked because words do matter. I remind President Biden, you're not talking to this fictional character when you were a lifeguard, Corn Pop, you're talking to somebody who's got a nuclear arsenal that it's the same as ours. And he is paranoid, and he's losing the fight in Ukraine, and you need to keep the pressure on."
