Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.), who lost his primary race to state Sen. Chuck Edwards (R-N.C.) earlier this week, said in an Instagram post on Thursday that “it’s time for the rise of the new right.”

“It’s time for the rise of the new right, it’s time for Dark MAGA to truly take command. We have an enemy to defeat, but we will never be able to defeat them until we defeat the cowardly and weak members of our own party. Their days are numbered. We are coming,” he wrote.

His post also included a list of names of people and groups he said had come to his defense “when it was not politically profitable,” which included Fox News host Tucker Carlson, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), former President Trump, the NRA, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) and Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.), among others.

“These are honorable men and women who are the type of friends anyone yearns to have. ‘At the beginning of a change the patriot is a rare and hated man.’ These are those rare and hated men/women. There are other National figures who I believe are patriots, but I am on a mission now to expose those who say and promise one thing yet legislate and work towards another, self-profiteering, globalist goal,” Cawthorn said.

“The time for gentile politics as usual has come to an end,”  he wrote.

Well, there's already a new right. Will it finally kill the agonizing "old" right?

More division within a divided party, divided country, the Democrats are no better, as we have seen as the extremists in their ranks have blocked efforts by their own party on capitol hill.

Divided we fall... The divisions grow deeper and more numerous daily.

It needs to be noted that Republicans voted him out of office.  If what he said was true, that would not have happened. Interesting how Maxine Waters or members of the "squad" have not been voted out of office by the Democrats.  These are just a few of the unhinged radicals of the Democrat party.  I think it's obvious there is more to worry about with the Democrat party.

This split within the parties of the right and left is occurring n other countries too.
It could be that traditional conservatives accepted that change was inevitable but that legislative changes should be carefully considered, gradual, and based on those traditions that had shown their value over the years. Therefore, they tended to prefer small governments that did not interfere too much with the natural order.
The left tended to believe that there were certain social issues that required immediate and radical action.
Members of both wings could often agree on the problem but disagree on the solution. Still, the two sides could have a reasonable debate.
What has happened over the last fifty years or so is that societal change has been extraordinarily rapid. Those of us who are old enough to remember life 50 years ago can see that this is the case. But politics has not caught up with the pace of change; representatives of both the left and right are desperately searching for a core voter who simply does not exist. Parties splinter into smaller groups and, of course, some of these groups are very radical.
Society may be changing too quickly for comfort but people don't change much. If something happens - something or someone is directly responsible. For example, the shortage of baby formula in the United States must be a direct result of government policy. The government is headed by Biden, so Biden is responsible (The left follows the same faulty logic).
I don't know what the answer to this problem is. Perhaps there isn't an answer. If not, we are in serious trouble.
