Now that the GOP has given the Georgia GOP Senate nomination to Herschel Walker, it might be time to start a conversation about it.
Personally, I can understand Trump backing him, he does make Trump look smart. He has the prerequisite background of abusive actions towards women that Trump likes to see. He hit the Trump trifecta when he openly lied about his educational and business background.
Georgia already has one idiot in Congress with Marjorie Taylor Greene. Do they really need another one? Would you ever vote for this clownshow?
Republicans really think than running an illiterate jock for the U.S. Senate is going to attract black voters just because he was a great football player? Seems like a Trump endorsement would attract whites, why is that going to help with the African American vote?
I get upset with the GOP for taking us for granted, assuming that if you just "paint it black" it will just sell like hot cakes in our communities. Just how dumb do they think we are? Against Warnock, they are deliberately playing to lose.
"Just how dumb do they think we are? "
I have heard that question before—every time some in-your-face political stunt is tried. I agree that Walker's candidacy is one of those stunts.
But, will it work? I'm not as dismissive, yet, as you are. The Party has several months to teach give him the 'Cliff's Notes' on 'How to be a Politician'.

GA, I would certainly be embarrassed if it did work. This fellow is quite a difficult case and it will take him more than a few months.....
Let's talk about Al Green, Maxine Waters, and so many others that are so inspiring and articulate.
Give me a break, AOC is at the bar, she has your drink ready.
I'll take AOC, who graduated with a double major and cum laude, over the guy who lied about graduating from Georgia and then lied about lying about it.
C'mon Ken, 'whataboutism'?
I suspect the same would be said of Walker if he were a Democrat candidate, it would just be different people saying it.
My cynical perception of Walker as a candidate is that he was recruited by the Republicans. I don't know if he previously had a desire to enter politics, so until I see differently, his candidacy is a Party move, not a Party response.

GA, hold on...
OK, AOC asked if you want your martini shaken or stirred?

Yep, for me that's the real meaning of life. Huge part of it is really difficult to swallow. Things become easy when we learn to embrace that there are realities that is out of our control. Finding purpose in a world where only few are often asleep and the rest are rarely awake. Perhaps the real...

Hello Hubbers, I know, me again and yes I am here to make a point. And, unfortunately, my feathers, per se, are already ruffled, by the ridiculous thinking of some people. I will be writing my next Hub about this, because it is completely out of control. I understand, where some people want to or...
