The Twitter Saga Should Be About The Actions Not The People

Damn, this forum needs a topic. The Twitter saga has all the good stuff: liberal vs. conservative, party vs. party, and all the big names: Trump, Biden, Musk, et al.

Skipping past the details of the individual 'releases' and the details of their release, and also the details of the names involved, and with the assumption that the claims made have at least a seed of truth, regardless of their presented spin, here is one 'Cliff's Notes' perspective.

The Twitter Files are like porn for many (former?), 'conspiracy theorists.'

Secret government information manipulation, aka propaganda: check.

Liberal 'Elites' doing the government's bidding: check.

The 'real people' non-elites resisted as best they could, (the Twitter stacks among input-only employees), against the power of the powerful . . .  : check.

. . . until a powerful of the powerful appeared to lift a few veils: check.

On the other hand, it is a necessary and proper function of a government, (any government), to influence public mood. The action wasn't wrong, the application was, (a 'chink' in the "theorists' foundation of evil intentions).

That same "hand" holds that Twitter's "action(s)' wasn't wrong either. This newest era of demanding corporate civic and moral responsibility also demands that Twitter work with the government to stop extremist interests from harming an ill-informed public. The application of the action was wrong.

A fair perception might be that one hand thinks 'two wrongs don't make a right' while the 'other' hand' thinks that with the right justification they can.

All I can say at this time is I need to bone up on Game theory with what Musk is doing releasing them, to begin with. It may just be fun, fun, fun for him with no ill intent, altruism, nor as a PSA. After all, he thinks we are living in a computer simulation. Perhaps, he is simply enjoying being the programmer. As with most programmers, there may be an easter-egg or two along the way. So, for now, I will keep a sharp eye out for them.

In being tied to the Twitter financing package, Tesla's stock price has dropped more than 60% since Musk started his Twitter venture. His 'richness' has dropped by a similar measure.

SpaceX appears to be soaring. There are hints that Tesla's involvement in AI development is making serious 'breakthrough' progress. Their future value seems safe.

A prediction that those hundreds of billions of paper value losses, (due to Twitter only?), will turn into hundreds of billions of bankable profits, once the Twitter ship stabilizes its course, seems right to me.

It appears the sunlight of the 'Twitter files', offers answers to a lot of questions and claims made by both sides—regardless of any spin applied to the point.

Maybe he already has a convert 'war room' of experts planning his defense against the future 'windfall profits' demands from the plebes due to his unethical control of their world.

The subject of your OP  is fascinating, with lots of twists and turns. I hope more will join in.  I have been pouring over the dumps, finding them pretty hard to digest.

I am not sure where you are going with this thread. I do feel the Twitter dumps have served a good purpose in regard to showing that some will not be silenced by the mob. The information is plentiful, and almost was hard to keep up with. The dumps have offered a good look into the mindset of this administration, and the Democratic party. It also told me that our Government agencies are vulnerable to political interference.

This is not new but still disturbs me. In regard to Musk, I look at him as a brave renegade, not many like him. I am cut from that cloth so I appreciate his braveness.

I hope your Holiday was a good one, Happy New Year!

The OP's direction was that the conspiracies around government manipulation of public information are conceptually true. Probably not the details of each theory, but the bones supporting those details are true.

It appears that Musk, through his in-house management decisions and the Twitter files releases, is showing the public how the game was being played. I see Twitter emerging as the most trusted social media platform.

The real point was just another 'I told you so.' Liberals have pooh-poohed conservative claims of censorship and laughed at the idiot conspiracy theorists. I don't hear them laughing much now.

Musk made this same point with a meme:

Beats me, but on a scale of trust, I think Twitter will come out on top. It may not be the Big Dog, (arguable?), of the coming meta-world social media platforms, but it will be a game-changer.

Sadly, this is the take most people will have.

Most folks will fit it into boxes of Democrat vs Republican, Biden Administration vs. Trump.

The complicit collaborations of the FBI, NSA, the larger Social Media giants, from Google to Facebook (basically all forms of social interaction used by people in America and beyond).

Much like when the Stimulus packages were passed, people's focus went to the Stimulus checks they were receiving, while that was how a few hundred billion were dolled out, Trillions were given to institutions like BlackRock, while banking regulations were rewritten and the ability to 'create' unlimited amounts of money while having none in reserve were given to Banks.

        Agenda 2030
        G7 - G20 Conferences

Where we are going, how and why, has all been in the open... in public, in new international laws, UN resolutions, etc.  our politicians, our Federal Administrations follow these goals and agendas as a collective group.

They do it in secrecy through the FBI as seen with Twitter, or they do it through CIA efforts overseas, through funding Non-Profits, through so many avenues that people are not aware, and when such efforts become made public, as Musk has done here, they are ignored by the MSM or discounted by the MSM.  The MSM are the guardians of the deception and people who take what is told in the MSM as factual are the ones most likely to turn on those trying to expose it.

It is clear that the media is not covering the Twitter dumps. It shocks me to the core. Musk was brave enough to put forth an experiment, that offered pure information and uncensored truth. The dumps revealed pure corruption between a political party, and the FBI, and offered the world a look inside how they worked to suppress a very important news story, and so much more...

And America looked the other way. They acted as if fingers were in their ears, and hands covered their eyes.  It has become very clear much of society can be conditioned not to look when they are told not to look.

Musk certainly proved this in spades. I find him to be such an interesting human being.

          Happy New Year!

            Too you as well.

On a side note, if they can destroy Musk's reputation, and tie his companies down in endless investigations and lawsuits, then the fight is truly done.

We might not live to see the inevitable enslavement of the 99% to the 1% but the Elysium like world is well on its way.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out over the next two years.  Musk has now made enemies with the most powerful people in DC.

    I'm very disheartened by it.

Truly a waste of Musk's time, his political good will, etc.

The "establishment" will protect itself from him, as it does all others.

Musk will be publicly destroyed like all others, Andrew Tate, Trump, it doesn't matter how high a profile or how much money is at your disposal, there is no stopping the direction, the progression, that our civilization, or that the "establishment" is on.

Musk has put it all at risk, Space X, Mission to Mars, Tesla, Free Power for the People, etc. things he was doing that were advancing humanity all so he can fight the inevitable tide of moral decay and mass control our technology has put us on.

That can't be done in a public and direct way as he has done, they will simply tie him up in legal battles, they will assail all his companies, they will defund him, deplatform him, derail his efforts and destroy his reputation.
