Pew Research June 27th published, "International Views of Biden and U.S. Largely Positive" with subtitle, "Most say U.S. interferes in affairs of other countries, but also contributes to peace and stability". Their report is a very extensive six page report highlighting a gamut of countries as seen with all the graphics. If interested or curious of how other countries views are take a peek and skim to your heart's content.

    https://www.pewresearch.org/global/2023 … -positive/

    What is covered?

The landing page (pg 1) touches on topics like:
** View of the US, its president, and global role
** Biden significantly more popular than Trump in middle-income nations
** America's role on the world stage
    ** U.S. Economic Power
    ** and much, much more

    For the other pages:

** Chapter 1 looks at overall opinion of the U.S. across the countries surveyed, including how perceptions have shifted over the years

** Chapter 2 examines confidence in U.S. President Joe Biden to do the right thing in world affairs and how ratings of Biden compare with those of former presidents Donald Trump and Barack Obama

** Chapter 3 considers the negative and positive roles the U.S. plays in international affairs

** Chapter 4 explores perceptions of American soft power, summarizing how people across 23 countries rate the U.S. compared with other wealthy nations

** Chapter 5 reviews global public opinion about which country is the world’s leading economic power

Interesting. I wonder why he has such low polls here in the USA?

"Biden's approval rating lingers at 40%, economy remains top worry. U.S. President Joe Biden's public approval rating held steady at 40% in early July, close to the lowest levels of his presidency, "
      https://www.reuters.com/graphics/USA-BI … opagnqapa/

Go figure, one could guess his agenda is very much more attractive to foreign nations.

"Interesting. I wonder why he has such low polls here in the USA?"

        The questions asked?

        First, the survey for Biden is;
"On balance, Biden gets positive reviews on the survey, although there are notable differences across countries. A 'median' of 54% say they trust Biden to do the right thing in international affairs and 39% say they do not." The graphic uses confidence / no confidence for the measurement. To see all 23 countries surveyed there is a graphic at the following link.

The stickler with U.S. polls is the economy, right? the other countries are not blaming Biden for economic concerns. They are blaming the pandemic and the Ukraine situation from my understanding.

I must admit I have no idea why other countries would have a favorable view of Biden. Got me stumped.  Might be because we are committed to trying to keep Russia away from their doorsteps.

Hey, more power to them.  I think what caused much of Europe's inflation was needing to pay more for their energy due to the War, and the pandemic, and Joe.  Just saying. Too complicated foe me to even contemplate why Biden would be popular anywhere.

One has to consider how the MSM covers Biden.

They cover him in as positive light as is possible considering how inept he is.

This impacts the general perception of him by foreigners that know little more than what bits and pieces they pick up from their news.

Propaganda (MSM) generally has the desired impact on at least half the targeted population unless their is something inherently rejected by those receiving it.

For instance the blowback on transgender, non binary, Mary Sue media being produced today that is flop after flop. Disney has put out several movies of late, remakes of Little Mermaid and Indiana Jones, that have cost Disney hundreds of millions in losses because the larger portion of the population is rejecting their messaging and refusing to watch it.

The bias toward America is probably good in the "Western Nations" and has been for decades now.

That is changing, China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, their MSM is outright hostile to America and Biden currently and I expect this will continue in those countries and a growing list of others as time goes by.

          Polls are not votes.

Which is why you did not have to put up with 4 years of Hillary.

Very true. Polls are often wrong. Some of them more than others. On the day of the 2016 election, many had Hillary winning by leaps and bounds. There were a couple that touted Trump would win. And test Hillary won the popular vote, so most polls were correct. But Trump won by electoral vote.
