"The US and the EU have backed an ambitious plan to build an economic corridor linking Europe with the Middle East and India via rail and sea, a project the US president, Joe Biden, described as a “really big deal”.

The Indian prime minister, Narendra Modi, and the European Commission president, Ursula von der Leyen, announced the project during a Saturday afternoon session at the G20 leaders’ summit, being held in Delhi this weekend.

Modi said the India-Middle East-Europe economic corridor promised to be “a beacon of cooperation, innovation, and shared progress”. Biden said it was “game-changing investment”.

Von der Leyen described it as “much more than just a railway or a cable”. “It is a green and digital bridge across continents and civilisations,” she said.

The planned corridor would link India, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Israel and the EU through shipping ports and rail routes, in an effort to make trade quicker and cheaper and to boost economic cooperation and digital connectivity across the region.

The project, called the Partnership for Global Infrastructure Investment, could speed up trade between India and Europe by 40% and help normalise relations between Israel and the Gulf states, which the Biden administration has been pushing for.

The initiative would also provide a counterbalance to China’s vast infrastructure corridor, the Belt and Road project, which currently stretches across Asia, Africa and Latin America and has given China sizeable influence over countries that have struggling economies.

“We think that the project itself is bold and transformative, but the vision behind the project is equally bold and transformative, and we will see it replicated in other parts of the world as well,” said Jake Sullivan, Biden’s national security adviser.

THE LEADERS DID NOT LAY OUT WHO WOULD BE PAYING FOR THE PROJECT,  A working group will lay out fuller plans over the next 60 days, including a timeline for building the infrastructure.

Sullivan said discussions for the project had begun in July last year during Biden’s visit to Saudi Arabia, and that another meeting between Saudi Arabia, the UAE and India had taken place earlier this year to formalise an agreement. Israel, which does not have diplomatic relations with Saudi Arabia, was also brought on to the project along with Jordan."

PLEASE LET ME SHARE MY VIEW  --- What A Guy...

Oh, isn't it just absolutely fantastic how everything's falling apart in the good ol' USA while our dear President Biden is gallivanting at the G20, playing world savior? I mean, this report should really ignite a patriotic bonfire in every American's head, right? But hey, don't you worry your pretty little head, because Congress, the real problem-solving experts, will undoubtedly show Biden the exit and give him a farewell pat on the back.

It's truly remarkable how Biden excels at creating problems but struggles to solve them. I mean, kudos to him for winning the hearts of our European pals. Who wouldn't adore such a generous spender? And speaking of generosity, forget about fixing our crumbling infrastructure or preventing those pesky train accidents; Joe thinks it's more important to build a fancy corridor from Europe to the Middle East and India. Because, you know, helping our neighbors is clearly more vital than addressing our domestic issues. (What A Tool!).

So, let's all join hands and chant "Make Other Nations Great Again!" or MONGA for short. Oh, the sheer brilliance of it all! OMG, indeed!

Here Is a video that really says it all.

Oh, it's such a mystery, isn't it? I mean, who would have thought that Biden's little "pet projects" could ever possibly ruffle the feathers of Congress? Will they, by some miraculous twist of fate, fail to agree on a new budget before the fiscal year conveniently ends on September 30th? It's almost as if the Freedom Caucus might actually dare to voice their concerns about Biden's extravagant generosity towards our neighbors while, you know, blissfully ignoring the  "messes" right here in America. Quite the head-scratcher, isn't it?

Biden has promised India and Africa. railways.   Note I use the word promised... None of his handouts will see the light of day,  Congress will never provide the money to aid in building these proposed railways that he has proposed to span across continents.

I truely hope anyone that reads this comment will do some research on his proposal, and listen to the speech he gave at the G20. (Guess pouring our tax money into other nations makes more sense than fixing our own broken rail systems.). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EhmsfEsGJiQ

I'm curious if Joe will find the time to address America's pressing issues. I'm particularly interested in his plans for managing the influx of migrants due to the open borders policy. Will he also tackle the homelessness problem, revitalize the economy, and address the contamination of our lakes with forever chemicals? Furthermore, I'm wondering if he will prioritize improving the quality of education for our children and reduce spending on ongoing military conflicts.

Additionally, I'm eager to see if he can mend relations with the 13 Goldstar families he offended. Will he engage in debates with opposing candidates, work on enhancing his truthfulness, and refine his communication skills during speeches?

.From my perspective, it appears that his actions at the G20 summit mainly involve making promises that may be difficult to fulfill. As far as I understand, Congress holds the authority to allocate spending, and there seems to be growing dissatisfaction within this Congress regarding Joe's spending habits. I find myself pondering whether he is fully aware of the domestic situation. It's noteworthy that some members of Congress are reluctant to pass the budget and are even discussing the possibility of another government shutdown promise.  Moreover, according to the polls, there's a narrative suggesting that Biden may face defeat in the 2024 election. It raises questions about whether any future Republican president would fully endorse all of Joe's unpredictable decisions.

    Off to Vietnam ---

I might argue that supporting a communist regime contradicts American values and that the U.S. should focus on other foreign policy priorities. It's crucial to assess the potential risks and costs associated with building a more prosperous Vietnam.

To name a few concerns --  Vietnam's communist government has been criticized for human rights violations, and supporting its economic growth may raise ethical and moral questions.

One needs to consider, that supporting a communist regime may not align with U.S. foreign policy objectives, which often prioritize democracy and capitalism.  Lastly,  there is no guarantee that efforts to make Vietnam wealthier will result in political or ideological changes that benefit the U.S. Again, Biden does not clearly consider the problems that could occur due to his alliances with communist countries.

In the end, the choice to interact with Vietnam and bolster its economic development should hinge on a meticulous evaluation of American national interests, principles, and enduring foreign policy objectives. This is a multifaceted matter necessitating the contemplation of prospective advantages as well as possible disadvantages. His inability to foresee the repercussions of his actions is exemplified by his ill-fated withdrawal from Afghanistan.

I don't think that Biden, or most liberals, are concerned with benefitting the US - rather the thrust is to give money away to poor people that won't build themselves.  It is a losing game, particularly when it is based on the forlorn hope that giving vast sums of money to other nations will make them our friend.

I agree, and I think it's important to have open discussions about Big Bucks Biden's policies and their impact on the country before he breaks the bank...

It's true that there are differing viewpoints on how best to address domestic and international challenges. In my view, at this point prioritizing funds to other nations may divert resources away from our own domestic needs. The country is a mess, we don't need fair-weather friends.

    But Biden Did Not
    https://hubstatic.com/16709234_f1024.jpg

Today, Biden is in Alaska, seemingly more concerned with appeasing climate control advocates than honoring the memory of the thousands of Americans tragically lost to terrorists on 9/11.

His failure to commemorate this solemn occasion is both reprehensible and indefensible in my eyes. It's become painfully evident that he has little regard for those who've perished at the hands of terrorists.

The 13 Gold Star families painfully witnessed his lack of empathy as he focused on self-promotion, in regard to telling the lie that his son was killed in the war...  Even checked his watch as the coffins were carried off an aircraft carrier. Their grief was overshadowed by his selfishness.

It's crystal clear that he prioritizes his political agenda in Alaska over paying respects to the fallen. I can't adequately express the depth of my disgust for this man's behavior.

Once again, I implore fellow Americans to take note of his disrespect.

The last words we heard from him were as he gave a press conference in Vietnam. Is this the kind of president we want representing us?  Confused, being told what to do...
