   So, why would the democrats delete so many files before the Republicans took back control of the House?  We can only imagine what is on them and what they're trying to hide.  When you add this to the 200 FBI agents in the crowd dressed as supporters of President Donald Trump, the democrats have some explaining to do.

   EXCLUSIVE: The former House Select Committee on Jan. 6 deleted more than 100 encrypted files from its probe just days before Republicans took over the majority in the House of Representatives, Fox News Digital has learned.
   
   The House Administration Committee's Oversight Subcommittee is leading an investigation into Jan. 6, 2021, led by Chairman Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga. The panel is investigating the security failures on that day, as well as the "actions" of the former select committee investigating the Capitol riot.
   
   Loudermilk, last week, told Fox News Digital his investigation has entered a "new phase" with renewed support from House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., who has committed additional resources to the panel’s investigation.
   
   The forensics team, according to sources familiar with their search, determined that 117 files were both deleted and encrypted. Sources said those files were deleted on Jan. 1, 2023 – just days before Thompson’s team was required to transfer the data to the new committee.
   
   Fox News Digital has learned the forensics team has recovered all 117 deleted and encrypted files. Now, Loudermilk is demanding answers and passwords to access the data."

   They were video depositions.  Because as required by law, the transcripts of those depositions are the official record, not the videos themselves.  This is common knowledge, but as usual, Fox and GOP reps are gaslighting you and you just had to run to spread their fake conspiracy theories to other websites. 
   
   Loudermilk wrote that some recordings were not archived or transferred to the Committee on House Administration. Written transcripts of them were provided, however.  House Rule VII outlines the requirements for preserving House records at the end of each two-year term, and a footnote to Thompson’s response to Loudermilk outlines why Thompson says those written transcripts comply with that rule.
   
   The committee was not obligated to archive all video recordings of interviews or depositions that were transcribed, he wrote. He cited guidance from the House clerk’s office that says the information contained in a document – and not necessarily that document’s format – make it a permanent record.
   
   Because those interviews and depositions were transcribed by “nonpartisan, professional official reporters” and were reviewed for errors by both the witnesses and committee staff, those transcripts qualify as the official, permanent records and follow House rules for record-keeping, he wrote.
   
   Let alone repeating the lie from Clay Higgins about the FBI - that guy is a loon.

      Why would they still find it necessary to delete anything?
      
      If the committee was on the up an up, they would have gladly turned over these things to the incoming congress. How would it hurt the January 6 committee to turn over the video of these depositions?  This makes it appear as if it would hurt them in some way. 
      
      If the new congress had the video depositions, it would be easy to verify the accuracy of the transcriptions.  Now, there is no way to verify the accuracy of the transcriptions.
      
      Their behavior, to say the least, is a bit more than suspicious.
      
      Again, their actions are of those trying to hide something.
