Did 2016 tactics just not work in 2020? Will they work in 2024?

Is Trump so sure the 2020 election was stolen because he used the same tactics in 2016 and he was successful in stealing an election he lost by three million votes? Will we ever know what really happened in 2016?

People who wanted to know what happened in the 2020 election have probably done their research and figured it out.

The same exact issues that caused the 2020 election to have questionable results are on the books in 2024.

The difference (at the moment) is there is no major disaster that has society in turmoil, so there is no need to keep those major changes made for 2020.  But they are still there... and they will still throw the election shade... only a landslide victory will keep the election from being in question.

LOL  Democrats know all about "stealing" an election.  It was done with Clinton in the Primary, it is done again with Harris in the Primary.  Dem's are good at it.

But Trump?  He "stole" nothing, winning fair and square under the laws and rules of the election.  Get over it.

Fair and square?  The guy literally got convicted for using his business to break campaign finance and tax laws in order to win his election.  But nice attempt to rewrite history and ignore that criminality.

Occasionally I come across something that does a good job explaining an issue.

This explains our election and the current situation very well:

" “Black Pigeon Speaks,” uncovering the worldview put forth by the channel’s host, wherein Jewish bankers are ensnaring the world in debt slavery fueled by Muslim migrants, and women, who by their “biological nature,” are destroying civilization." -The Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy is a Harvard Kennedy School research center dedicated to addressing this challenge at its root by examining how essential information is created, conveyed and consumed.

I don't care too much about the source of things.

That is definitely something I notice those who are Left leaning in these forums LOVE to point out.

Oh... this source has been discredited by this other source(s) therefore its information is not going to be considered.

That's how you end up in an Echo chamber listening to only the authorized information presented by 'your' side.

I'll consider anything, and then compare what it presents with what I already know... and/or what else I can find from other sites on the matter.

In this case... from the timestamped point of that video link I provided until it is no longer discussing the topic, the information it presents IS spot on regarding how things work... However simplistic in nature its explanation may be.

          Out on the playground . . .

Why not branch out on your own and get in the game and make some bucks. $$$ You have your perspective that would probably draw a large audience. You know the material. You know the game.

            Tim I appreciate the suggestion.

That would take commitment and focus and desire to do so.

My participation in the forums is literally often off-the-cuff with me doing something else at the same time.  Alltho I do enjoy those moments when I have peace and quiet and can really focus on my response(s)... that isn't too often.

In all honesty, this has been both therapeutic for me, as I have been able to wrestle with things that have been buried within me for a couple of decades, things I know I could not directly discuss, that I have been able to vent about (kind of) and analyze and reinterpret.

Also it has been a learning experience, there are people here that can, and do, challenge my information constantly... less and less do I double down on MY perspective, I will consider the other position instead.

I know it might not seem like it... it would be boring in here if I just went along with the narrative.

MOST OF ALL... this is NOT Facebook or X (Twitter) or Youtube... where what you post on those sites may very well come back to bite you... or be the reason why you get imprisoned in the future.

So I am enjoying my ability to vent here online, with you, until it gets to the point where voicing one's opinions becomes too dangerous... as it is today in places like the UK and Canada.

Just playing the devil's advocate with temptation. wink I think you would be good at it. Maybe start with Florida politics and progress from there. Just pondering.

I just read another article saying Joe Rogan's podcast will be worth 220 million this year with all the commercial support he has. Wow!

Ken: Is the take-away here that you just look for folks who tell you what you agree with?

    No offense. We all do.

To avoid what I call "The Lemming Syndrome" I look for credentials and a track record - not for how often they agree with me - but how often over time does it turn out they have the facts right?

If I only listened to someone who tells me what I want to hear, I'd only watch Rachel Maddow - not exactly "Fair and Balanced"!

      The opposite.

If I wanted to exist in a bubble, or a community that would confirm my biases, i wouldnt be here in these forums.

I agree Maddow is the talking head of the Progressive/LGBTQ+ wing of the Party if anyone in the MSM is.

A little bias in her perspectives.

Well, if our ability to discuss things continues past the HP slimdown,  and we somehow avoid the war escalating to the point where such frivilous activity is no longer possible...

I look forward to our discussions, until the criminality/illegality of things deemed misinfornation, hate speech, etc. make such communication ill suited to have.

Ken: "A little bias in her perspectives."  You are being generous. She is extremely bias, simply in what she selects to put on her hour of air time. Which is why I enjoy her views but listen to many others for balance.
