It's estimated that up to 12,000 North Korean regular Army troops are arriving in Russia prepared to fight alongside Russian troops in the war with Ukraine.  putin has a man power shortage.  He has lost almost 700,000 troops during the war.  putin is afraid of another draft fearing this would cause open rebellion against the government.  North Korea is now part of the Ukraine War.  This conflict is escalating at a rapid pace.  The Ukrainian news shared how a successful drone strike was conducted on the bases where the North Korea troops are training.  Americans are so occupied with the election they aren't noticing the actions of putin.  He knows this and will use this situation to his advantage.  What should the United States do in this situation?

"N Korea sends troops to fight with Russia: Seoul

North Korea has started sending troops to fight with Russia in Ukraine, South Korea's spy agency has said as Seoul warned of a "grave security threat".

The allegation comes a day after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he believed 10,000 North Korean soldiers could join the war, based on intelligence information.

South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol called for a security meeting on Friday and said the international community must respond with "all available means".

According to the spy agency, 1,500 troops have already arrived in Russia - with anonymous sources telling South Korean media the final figure could be closer to 12,000.

This comes as evidence mounts that North Korea is supplying Russia with ammunition, as recently demonstrated by the recovery of a missile in Ukraine’s Poltava region.

Moscow and Pyongyang have also been deepening their cooperation in recent months. Last week, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un greeted Russian President Vladimir Putin on his birthday, calling him his "closest comrade".

Friday's security meeting was attended by key officials from South Korea's National Security Office, the Ministry of National Defence, and the National Intelligence Service, Yoon's office said.

"[The participants] decided not to ignore the situation and to jointly respond to it with the international community using all available means," it said.

The allegation from the National Intelligence Service (NIS) comes days after Ukrainian military intelligence sources said that Russia's army is forming a unit of North Koreans.

The BBC has asked the NIS for comment.

On Thursday, Ukraine's spy chief Kyrylo Budanov claimed that there were nearly 11,000 North Korean infantry troops training in eastern Russia to fight in Ukraine.

"They will be ready [to fight in Ukraine] on 1 November," Lt Gen Budanov, who heads the Ukrainian Defence Intelligence Directorate, told The Warzone website.

He added that the North Koreans would be using Russian equipment and ammunition, and the first group of 2,600 soldiers would be sent to Russia's western Kursk region, where Ukraine holds a number of settlements after launching its incursion in August.

Earlier this week, Putin introduced a bill to ratify a military pact he made with Kim, which pledges that Russia and North Korea will help each other in the event of "aggression" against either country.

South Korea's spy agency, the NIS, said North Korean troops are training in Russian bases in Vladivostok, Ussuriysk, Khabarovsk, and Vlagoveshensk.

This appears to confirm information from a military source in Russia’s Far East, who told BBC Russian this week that “a number of North Koreans have arrived” and were stationed in one of the military bases near Ussuriysk.

Seoul's spy agency also released aerial photographs of Ussuriysk and Khabarovsk, where they say hundreds of North Korean troops have gathered, and another photo of North Korea's Chongjin port, where a Russian ship was reportedly shown carrying North Korean soldiers.

The NIS said it found that since August, North Korea has sent 13,000 shipping containers carrying shells, missiles, and anti-armour rockets to Russia.

As many as eight million 122-mm and 152-mm shells have been supplied to Russia, it said.

However, some military experts believe the Russian military units will have difficulties incorporating North Korean troops into their frontlines.

Apart from the language barrier, the North Korean army has no recent experience of combat operations, they said.

“They could guard some sections of the Russian-Ukrainian border, which would free Russian units for fighting elsewhere,” said Valeriy Ryabykh, editor of the Ukrainian publication Defence Express.

“I would rule out the possibility that these units will immediately appear on the front line.”

This clearly shows that the war is escalating. It’s also evident that the Biden administration is distancing itself from the conflict because of the upcoming election, reminiscent of our withdrawal from Vietnam. I believe Russia is becoming increasingly determined to win the war by trying to overrun Ukraine. I hope Trump wins; he would likely work toward finding a solution to the conflict and seems to respect sovereignty, making him more inclined to protect Ukraine against Russia.  If you notice, even the media is not reporting much on the war. They should be this war could lead us into a world war.

To many are suffering due to this war.

Too many are suffering due to this war."

I would say that "suffering" is an understatement.

We can talk about it and surmise about the conditions and actions, but we will never know the dire misery the citizens of Ukraine and Russia are going through and ...
        whY?
        Why?
        wHy?
        To what actual end?
Do we know what the end game is?
Can we visualize peace and prosperity for everyone in the region?
        HOW will it be realized?

Russia gives up its aspirations to claim Ukrainian territory and goes back to the 1991 borders.

Too much blood has been shed for anything less.

          That would end it immediately.

History shows that when the U.S. becomes exhausted by war or sees no clear path to victory, we tend to pull out, letting events take their course. This is one reason I support Trump: he’s the kind of leader who seeks to maintain peace rather than entangle the country in conflicts far from home. Ukraine, unfortunately, has become the battleground for NATO's interests—a proxy setting where NATO conducts its war without risking its own soldiers’ lives.

I have hope and faith that if Trump wins, he’ll make a strong effort to bring this war to an end while respecting Ukraine's sovereignty.

I believe this is a misread of the situation...

Yes, I believe you are right that the Establishment is putting Ukraine on-pause because of the election...

But they are also trying to keep Israel from escalating their war against Iran, with at best... limited success, until after the election...

And they are also underreporting the chaos in Africa and the attacks on French and American interests in several nations there as well...

We are in WWIII and they are trying to ignore that truth...

There is absolutely 100% certainty that a Harris win means these wars escalate and more nations climb in with Russia, Iran and North Korea...

Hillary Clinton and Obama behind the scenes... Victoria Nuland brought back in to pursue her wet dreams of dominating/destroying Russia...

The tragedy that will befall the world under a Harris Administration is practically unfathomable... such delusion and insanity at the helm of America is certain to spell our doom... look how bad their leadership has been the last 4 years, and then consider this crew running a nation while we are in a war against several nations at once.

WWIII was here as soon as Biden (Hillary, Nuland, etc.) took office...

I have been saying that for quite a while...

These are the warmongering fascists that too many still believe Trump to be.

They are doing every, single, terrible thing that they had warned that Trump would do... and worse (ie Open Border).

If they let the American people know now how far along it really is... that it already has started, they know there would be NO chance America would vote for Dementia Joe or Crazy Kamala ... at this point, they would vote in droves for Trump, it wouldn't just be a landslide, every state other than NY and CA (too corrupt not to go in the hole to the Dems by ten million votes) would go Trump.

I don't think many people realize the goal of putin is to take Poland if he gets past Ukraine.  More than one of his generals have made this statement.  If that happens, NATO and the United States will have to get involved.  I don't think China would sit back and let russia face the United States alone.

Most Americans don't realize Ukrainians are what is preventing the world from plunging into World War III.

They deserve all of the military and logistical help the United States and Western Europe can provide.

Most Americans don't realize how the nation benefits from giving Ukraine what it needs to win the war. putin no longer has the manpower and must rely on a foreign nation to help fight his war.  He is losing.  Ukrainians need to be able to launch long range missiles at russian military targets.

The Ukrainians CAN win this war.

I don't buy the Poland is next BS...

I don't buy that he wants to control all of Ukraine... defeat it and ensure it is never a threat to Russia... yes.

The bigger picture is BRICS and a variety of other trade negotiations Mike.

Big Picture... Russia, China, Iran, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, India are all united in divesting themselves from SWIFT (aka the Dollar) and from America's ability to influence how they run their countries.

And many other countries are lining up to join them.

This alignment will have more energy resources, more people, and more industrial capability than America/the West has.

While this global divide may have happened in another decade or two, the Biden-Harris debacle of an Administration has hastened it to occur NOW and with a certainty that a global war that will engulf the world is to follow... pretty much guaranteed if we have a Harris Administration.

What is winning the war for Ukraine?

How is that achieved without escalating the war to pull in those nations committed to standing with Russia... like North Korea and Iran who are already militarily committed to doing so... and perhaps more?

Understanding that this is NOT merely Ukraine vs Russia is critical...

I don't think a whole lot of Americans understand that... if they really did, they would realize that the Ukraine and Israel/Iran war are all interconnected and will later be looked at in history as where WWIII began... if we have a history in the future...

In fact, a great explanation comes from someone who has family on the frontlines in Ukraine, who grew up in that part of the world and who is far more intimately informed about how and why we are here:

Such insight and comprehension in his break down, great stuff.

If you like it, you will find the complete interview eye opening:

          https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GbV6iW26h-Q

The sum of the problem we have, is the gross lack of information and misinformation about what is going on in the American populace.

We have an entire population in America... half of which cannot think beyond "orange man bad" and the more intelligent they are the more they seem to get caught up in the delusion of lies that have been fed them...

If you study Germany in the 1930s, you can see many similar comparisons, the extremely liberal times of sexual openness and LGTBQ acceptance, an explosion of communist and fascist extremist ideology coming to the forefront of politics and social dialogue...

Along with a currency that devalued into nothingness and an array of countries that aligned against it... most of the world is aligning itself in opposition to the US/UK/EU today...

There are conflicts throughout Africa, the Middle East... these are not separate conflicts as much as they are a continuation of a greater struggle... the West and those Nations still under the influence of them... and the growing list of Nations pulling away from that influence...

That is why when the UAE and Saudi Arabia turned from America and joined BRICS... it was huge... it was the earthquake that preceded the tsunami to come.

We have a blithering, blathering, full of nonsense Harris that is going to preside over America during the moment in history the majority of the rest of the world stands up to oppose it...

How do you think that is going to go... with this clown show continuing to be in control?  Swapping out Dementia Joe for Crazy Kamala?

I agree that the war in Ukraine is starting to involve other nations directly.

I would also like to point out it is russia who invaded, it is russia who is having North Korea directly commit troops.

Ukraine is fighting for its right to be a nation.  If russia was to go back to the borders that were in place in 1991.  The war would end.  It would be over and there would be much celebration.

russia is afraid to appear weak.  They have a horrible government.

There was a russian unit that was surrounded.  The Ukrainians sent in a drone asking if they would like to surrender.  The russian commander agreed for him and his troops to surrender.  On their way to the place where they were going to meet Ukrainian soldiers, the russian command heard what they were doing, and called in an artillery strike.  They killed almost 100 of their own men who were ready to surrender.  It's not the first time something like this has happened.

The russian government and military are pure evil and must be stopped

              Its more complicated than that...

Its a debate/discussion/argument we have had going back years now...

The same basic truths that I told then, apply now...

Russia is never letting Crimea out of the Russian Federation...

For that to happen Russia will have to be defeated as a Nation...

That requires taking the war into Moscow and beyond...

It is not something that Ukraine can accomplish on its own...

It requires US/UK troops to accomplish and that was always the case.

This was always going to escalate into WWIII... in fact that was always the plan by those that advocated for it and wanted this war.

A Harris Administration ensures this continues, that a war that has at least 3 fronts globally will ensue.

This is the secondary reason why I am sure Harris will "win" the election, the people who want these wars to escalate are more powerful than the people supporting Trump... even with Elon Musk and a few other billionaires backing him that are trying to stop the looming disaster about to befall our nation.
