    A phrase, a quote, a dream...
Do you have something that summarizes what this election means to you?
What it means to be an American?
    Will you share it?

Each of us has our own perceptions, beliefs, dreams and desires... but how does that translate into how we see America... and how we see this election?

One can see allowing in millions of migrants as a wonderful generous attempt at helping others and making the world a better place.

Others can see that as a threat to their job, to their community, a feeling only compounded by the lack of stopping known criminals from being let in.

Some people see our efforts overseas as trying to spread Democracy...

While others will see support for hundreds of thousands being slaughtered, entire cities being destroyed, as a government that chose war over compromise and negotiation.

What does this election mean to you?

        Wow... isn't it tho...

Who supports Freedom of choice and Individual liberty in this election?

Which side supports free speech and freedom of choice more?

Which should come first... Party or Personal beliefs?

This election embodies the essence of being an American: the privilege and responsibility to participate in shaping our future. It’s a time for reflection on our values—freedom, equality, and the pursuit of happiness. As we face challenges, our choices reflect who we are as a nation and what we aspire to be. Engaging in the democratic process is not just our right but our duty, ensuring that every voice is heard and every vote counts.

I see America as a country in need of fixing, and I believe we must get back on a path of growth that keeps our nation strong and upholds the values laid out in our Constitution. It’s essential to care for America’s needs right now. Each of us has our own perceptions, beliefs, dreams, and desires, shaping how we view our country and this election. For me, this election is an opportunity to work toward a better future for all Americans, reflecting our shared values and aspirations.

While I believe in the importance of helping others, I also feel that we need to consider our own citizens’ needs. We have let too many migrants in, and while it may seem kind and generous, it has often ignored the struggles of Americans. I see how this situation can threaten jobs and community safety, especially when we hear about known criminals being allowed in. We need to step back, fix what's broken, not further the many serious problems we see today.

It’s frustrating to think that strong leadership could have potentially prevented such devastating conflicts. As you know, I share your concern for the countless lives lost and the destruction of entire cities. I feel we are asking others to fight what this administration sees as a necessary battle. Not concerned about the lives of the people of the Ukraine. This is inexcusable in my view.

I feel that a focus on compromise and negotiation would have been a better approach.  It’s disheartening to witness the consequences of choices made in the name of war instead of diplomacy.

I  feel we are at a crossroads. This election represents a crucial moment for America—a chance to reaffirm our values and protect the freedoms that define us. For me, it’s about choosing a path that reflects our Nations unique identity rather than borrowing from other Nations. I believe in the strength of our democracy and the responsibility we have to safeguard it for future generations. This election is an opportunity to stand firm in our principles and ensure that the American experiment continues to thrive.

    Thanks Ken:
One half of the nation KNOWS the current porous border presents "a threat to their job, to their community, a feeling only compounded by the lack of stopping known criminals from being let in."

That same half KNOWS our efforts overseas are causing "hundreds of thousands being slaughtered, entire cities being destroyed, because we have a government that chooses war over compromise and negotiation."

We need a reason to have hope for the peace and prosperity of the future.
We need our kids, our grand kids and our great-grand kids to have a bright future.

My quote: The will is to the psyche what the heart is to the body.

My plea to the other half: Please don't choke your potential for guiding your own will by voting in Biden's pick for Vice President. Our freedom is at stake.

      That's a bit deep.

I have been working on trying to get AI generators that convert a picture into a short video, for the purposes of this thread.

It has been a challenge, AI still has some quirks at this... combined with my lack of experience (at the moment)... but perhaps you will find some humor in the errors of this effort:

The end of this video reveals there is hope.  Leaders in Road Island have discovered the key to solving the dire problems caused by negligent, cavalier and utopia-believing government officials.
