The Coup d’État Has Begun by Michael Moore (Feb 6, 2025)
Friends,
The actual Coup in DC is underway. I don’t want to waste much time writing this when most of you already know that, and because every hour right now is precious.

"And none of Trump’s actions since January 20th have surprised me. He is the most “honest” President we’ve had in our lifetime. He has announced over and over what he was going to do should the American people let him back into the White House. He is transparency on steroids. He hasn’t just given us the facts and the blueprint of his long-promised coup, he has done the most audacious thing any autocrat in history has attempted — he has openly BRAGGED about exactly how he was going to pull it off. The more he performed his schtick, the more people thought either “I can’t wait for him to shut down the FBI, the CIA, the Deep State and AOC” or “Everybody should calm down, it’s just Trump! Haha!”
Thoughts, criticisms, accolades, and/or commentary?
Michael Moore’s take is exactly what I’d expect from someone who has spent years trapped in his own echo chamber. He claims Trump is the "most honest" president in our lifetime, yet twists that into some bizarre admission of a so-called coup. What he calls “transparency on steroids” is really just Trump doing what he has always done—laying out his plans openly and without the typical political doublespeak. The irony is that Moore sees this as some grand villainous confession when in reality, it’s just Trump keeping his word, something politicians rarely do.
The paranoia in Moore’s rant is almost amusing—he genuinely believes that if Trump says he wants to clean out corruption, it must mean he’s plotting to overthrow the government. The left has always accused Trump of what they themselves are guilty of: abusing power, suppressing opposition, and weaponizing institutions against political enemies. The idea that shutting down or reforming agencies like the FBI or the so-called Deep State is a “coup” is laughable—especially when those same institutions have been caught red-handed manipulating elections and silencing dissent.
Moore’s exaggerations reveal more about his own fears than about Trump. He and others like him are watching their grip slip as people reject the corruption they once defended. His panic is the clearest sign yet that Trump is doing exactly what he promised—putting America first and dismantling the entrenched power structures that have long worked against its people.

Moore has opined that Trump’s inability to be anybody other than who he has been his entire life will lead him to be either impeached or to resign, when he finds out that the presidency is not all about him.“Here’s what’s gonna happen, this is why we’re not gonna have to suffer through four years...
