Another One Bits The Dust... Bye Bye Jimmy

It’s encouraging to see so many lose the stage they used to spread hate.

And then there’s late night,  the supposed realm of comedy that became nothing more than a DNC echo chamber. Jimmy Kimmel had his show pulled indefinitely after disgusting comments about Charlie Kirk, which ABC affiliates flatly rejected as “offensive” and “insensitive.” Stephen Colbert, whose entire shtick revolved around mocking Trump and conservatives, now has his Late Show set to end in 2026. CBS calls it a financial decision, but the timing, right after Colbert railed against his own parent company, makes the cancellation look like more than just business. Together, these late-night hosts turned comedy into political propaganda, and now the networks are cutting them loose.

But the reckoning isn’t limited to late-night television. CNN saw Chris Cuomo fired after endless scandals, Brian Stelter ousted when Reliable Sources became unwatchable propaganda, and Don Lemon shown the door after years of venomous rants and declining ratings. MSNBC wasn’t spared either, with Chris Matthews pushed out after his comments repeatedly crossed the line, and others following as the network faced backlash for turning news into a nonstop anti-Trump sermon.

So let’s connect the dots. From CNN to MSNBC, from ABC to CBS, the pattern is obvious: the loudest, most hateful voices are being tossed aside. These weren’t journalists or entertainers anymore, they were activists with microphones, men and women who thought mocking, smearing, and demonizing half the country was good business. For a while, it was. But networks eventually wake up when advertisers flee, affiliates revolt, and audiences grow tired of the endless venom.

Chris Cuomo thought he was untouchable. Brian Stelter believed he could sneer at conservatives forever. Don Lemon turned every broadcast into a lecture dripping with contempt. Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert mistook partisan mockery for comedy. And Chris Matthews couldn’t help but insult viewers who didn’t think like him. One by one, they all fell, not because conservatives silenced them, but because their own arrogance, bitterness, and hate destroyed the very platforms they clung to.

As a conservative, I won’t shed a tear for any of them. They wanted to make a career out of demeaning others, and now their own words have cost them their careers. Actions have consequences. For once, accountability has come not to everyday Americans but to the self-appointed elites who thought they were untouchable. And let me say it plainly: good riddance.

Thanks for the bottom line, Sharlee.
