Odumbo keeps blaming the Republicans for "blocking" unemployment benefits extensions.

The Republicans are NOT against the benefits they just want them funded... but Odumbo has not done anything to fund them.  Odumbo wants to borrow print and spend... adding more and more to the deficit.

    $33 Billion a pop!

There is supposedly $400 Billion available from the Bailout that could be used, but he refuses to tap into that money.  That's set aside for special interests and bankers.

So Odumbo plays the blame game and accuses the Republicans of Playing Politics... when the only none playing Politics is Odumbo himself.

Possibly the kind that chooses to read my post and attack me personally instead of responding to the real issue.

Looks like I have another Troll.

No troll here. But if you want to be taken halfway seriously, you should avoid infantile insults. They reflect badly on you.

Like I said I have a new troll. Avoid the content and personally attack me again.

            The very definition of TROLL.

That wasn't an attack. It was what used to be called "a word in your ear".

I was never fond of Bush (either of them).  But I always called the president by his proper name.

      You Call your President ODUMBO!
Trolls can be anybody right? They resort to name calling when they don't really have a policy issue they can discuss with clarity. Right?

They make desperate attemps to distract people from themselve and their lack of solutions for the political idealology they support. Right?

They offer no real solutions to the problems of the American people. Right?

Everyone please read these excerpts from an article referring to the plans of the republicans to do nothing for the American people beside attack the Democrats and distract us from the fact that they have no solutions to offer.:

"The smart political approach would be to make the election about the Democrats," said Neil Newhouse of the powerhouse Republican polling firm Public Opinion Strategies, which is advising more than 50 House and Senate candidates. "In terms of our individual campaigns, I don't think it does a great deal of good" to engage in a debate over the Republicans' own agenda."

"We're not going to tell you that if you vote Republican you're going to wake up in your dream home with a brand-new Corvette outside, ready to take you to the best job in the world," McConnell said. "You know why? Because government can't deliver that promise."

"Republicans in the Senate, with dimmer prospects of gaining control, are plotting a much simpler course. Their platform, to the degree they have one, is to offer themselves as an even bigger roadblock to the Democrats than they are now."
      http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsbu … 90896.html

      WAIT A MINUTE!
There is one Republican that whats everybody to know what he's about and what his plans are for the American People.  The candidate for the Governor of Arkansas is running on the Platform of ridding the United States of all Non White people in the Country! Billy Roper wants the world to know what he is for and what(and who)he's against. I'll take any honesty I can get from Republicans.

Ah! the sound of heads knocking together!

    Sweeeet.

Paraglider, if you are not familiar with his work, is probably one of the most sincere gentlemen on HP; his writing is erudite but never stuffy; in fact, he is witty and funny and a helluva comedian at times.

But when he's serious, he's always thoughtful and does not comment lightly.  I know he needs no one to defend him, and I apologize to him for this comment, but I thought the original poster might find it useful.

Teresa - I'm too old and gnarled to blush, but thank you.
Normally I let this kind of garbage pass without comment, but occasionally it does no harm to flag wholly inappropriate forms of expression. After all, there might be some impressionable minors reading. Or writing...

To address the original comment of the thread: it never ceases to amaze me when folk blame the intelligent for the mistakes of others, especially when the others are fools.

    I'm just saying.

You two are funny... one cames in to attack and the other follows along sniffing at his tail to assure him that... it is okay... that, he is in the right and usualy above such things.

    lollllllllllll

Tooo funny guys... it is like a comedy rutine.

I am very well, sir. Thank you for asking. Today it was too hot to run, at 122F. I had a pleasant walk through the old part of town. How about you? Did you have a constructive day?

A lil hot out, but other-wise I am good and it has been an okay day. I will get a few things done later in the yard when it cools down and maybe ever kick the grill over.

I am glad to hear your well and watch yourself in the heat, Para.

I do. I make a point of going outside for an hour or two every day, but take sensible precautions. The main one being a Canadian made Tilley hat. A lifesaver.

You know, until Iraq I had no real beef with Bush and even then I believed he thought he was doing the right thing.  Tragically wrong, if course, but he believed it was right. Maybe he still does.

I didn't think he was terribly smart, but he had smart people around him.  Wrong minded people, but not dumb.

Without Iraq, he was a decent Republican, even a decent man.  I'm afraid the next GOP candidate will not be as moderate.

I think the kind of disrespect of the office reflected in the title of this thread is disgusting.

So, who do you think you can field that stands a chance against Obama?

Palin would get torn apart.  That Louisiana guy who I can't think of right now?  I know you would never want Romney, right?  And you hate Scott Brown now, so if he was ever on the radar, he is not now.

      So who?

The one and only item on your list that President Obama has 100% personal control over is quitting smoking.
Heck,if I had to deal with the obstructionism he has to deal with in Congress, I'd probably smoke too.
