Liberal journalists suggest government shut down Fox News

By Jonathan Strong - The Daily Caller | Published: 12:01 AM 07/21/2010

If you were in the presence of a man having a heart attack, how would you respond? As he clutched his chest in desperation and pain, would you call 911? Would you try to save him from dying? Of course you would.

But if that man was Rush Limbaugh, and you were Sarah Spitz, a producer for National Public Radio (update: Spitz was a producer for NPR affiliate KCRW for the show Left, Right & Center), that isn’t what you’d do at all.

In a post to the list-serv Journolist, an online meeting place for liberal journalists, Spitz wrote that she would “Laugh loudly like a maniac and watch his eyes bug out” as Limbaugh writhed in torment.

In boasting that she would gleefully watch a man die in front of her eyes, Spitz seemed to shock even herself. “I never knew I had this much hate in me,” she wrote. “But he deserves it.”

Spitz’s hatred for Limbaugh seems intemperate, even imbalanced. On Journolist, where conservatives are regarded not as opponents but as enemies, it barely raised an eyebrow.

    Is there a topic here?
Do you always take what media people -- including those on NPR --
    as literally as this?

Let's not forget that Mr. Limbaugh went on record as saying he hoped Obama fails miserably.

Given the underhanded, vitriolic and brazenly hateful things Conservatives have done in the last 10 years, I'd say ENEMIES is a fair assessment.

'' Given the underhanded, vitriolic and brazenly hateful things Conservatives have done in the last 10 years, I'd say ENEMIES is a fair assessment.''

Can you point out a few for some of the newer rubbers ?

The democrats , during the Bush years, were pretty downright brutal and disrespectful of the office of the presidency. I don't believe there ever  was a  residing president that gave an opponent's party incoming president, the time and effort to make a clean transition for the new administration
Character does matter unless you're part of the radicals in our society.

    Jon,
I have to agree with you there. The transition from president to president could be smoother. But the reasons why it is not are pretty obvious.

What things have conservatives done to show they are not just opponents but enemies of the left?
I will answer your question in four words.
    Karl Rove
    Dick Cheney

Those are names of people, not things done.

You're right, the answer was  a no answer. A simple question and a simpler answer.
It's hard sometimes to be truthful in the world of politics in today's society.
Today, right is wrong and wrong is right, that's the progressive view of honesty and integrity IN OBAMA LAND.
