The Dodo bird was a famously  unexceptional specie of flightless birds that once roamed   the  plains  and forests of Mauritius. It became extinct in the latter part of the 19th century, a victim of  humans  and their dogs.
Barack Obama is a famously exceptional specie of   humorless  nerds that now roam the plains  and forests of  Estados Unidos. He could become extinct in the first  part of the  21st  century,   a victim of  shamans and  their gods. As it was with the Dodo bird,  relentlessly hunted  by man and beast, so it is with Obama,  relentlessly haunted by  Koran and  Foxnewscast.

I was LOVING this analogy, until I realized you've labeled him soooooo wrong.....

Obama is not flightless.  He's in control of the Big Bird Air Force One and he let it fly over New York, scaring the inhabitants thereof in a way that's reminiscent of 9/11.  That WAS an exceptionally horrible piece of work right thar, you betcha.

Poor guy.  "Haunted by Koran"?  Umm... no, he defends the Koran! Relentlessly pursued by Fox News?  Oh dear.  How dare they try to hold a non-transparent man to his oath of transparency! roll

But I agree with you that he's "humorless" (at least, unless the joke's on somebody else).

Obama's "soaring" rhetoric could let fly some lose lips.... like Chris Matthew's famous "I get a tingle in my leg whenever I hear Obama speak..." One of the things that Obama does very well, aside from giving his adoring fans the hibbie-gibbies whenever he orates from his tele-prompter is enjoying  the perks of the presidency i.e Air Force One. He defends Islam (and its Holy Book, the Koran) because he is haunted... I meant to say daunted by it. Whenever one is daunted by someone or something, the natural reaction is to try to appease him/it. And at this particular juncture of his presidency, Obama has become not the Commander-In-Chief, but the Appeaser(Apologizer)-In-Chief.

Pictures are going to start showing up here… (but not from me)

And they will be of more than just one politician.

Is it just me, or is there irony in the fact that a Harvard educated president is compared to a dodo bird?
When in reality there are numerous dodos in the country. They exalt their very dodo-ism like chicken little running around screaming "the sky is falling."
