Jails and Nursing Homes
Here's the way it should be:
Let's put the seniors in jail and the criminals in nursing homes.
This would correct two things in one motion:
Seniors would have access to showers, hobbies and walks.
They would receive unlimited free prescriptions, dental and medical treatment, wheel chairs, etc.
They would receive money instead of having to pay it out.
They would have constant video monitoring, so they would be helped instantly if they fell or needed assistance.
Bedding would be washed twice a week and all clothing would be ironed and returned to them..
A guard would check on them every 20 minutes.
All meals and snacks would be brought to them.
They would have family visits in a suite built for that purpose.
They would have access to a library, weight/fitness room, spiritual counseling, a pool and education...and free admission to in-house concerts by nationally recognized entertainment artists.
Simple clothing - i.e., shoes, slippers, pj's – and legal aid would be free, upon request.
There would be private, secure rooms provided for all with an outdoor exercise yard complete with gardens.
Each senior would have a P.C., T.V., phone and radio in their room at no cost.
They would receive daily phone calls.
There would be a board of directors to hear any complaints and the ACLUwould fight for their rights and protection.
The guards would have a code of conduct to be strictly adhered to, with attorneys available, at no charge to protect the seniors and their families from abuse or neglect.
As for the criminals:
They would receive cold food.
They would be left alone and unsupervised.
They would receive showers once a week.
They would live in tiny rooms, for which they would have to pay $5,000 per month.
They would have no hope of ever getting out.
"Sounds like justice to me!"
AS THE NEW USA PRESIDENT ARLENEA BALLARD I THINK GIVING SENIORS CHOICES THAT FIT THEIR BUDGET AND CONFORT WOULD WORK. HOWEVER GIVING THE EASY HOUSING CHOICES AND TRANSPORATTION OPTIONS WOULD MAKE IT MORE CARING FOR THEM. SUCH AS PARATRANSIT AND BUS PASS AT A MUCH LOWE4R PRICE. HEALTH CARE I'M WORKING ON NOW.
This is brilliant!! Have you made a hub of this? If you haven't, you should! Wish I'd thought of it....
If any of you think prisons are a nice place to be, you are in denial. They are brutal and evil. Nursing homes may be too, but that can be remedied. Prisons are meant to be that way.
It's not funny, and if one of you had a person you know in there, you would be worried every day.
"Torture Inc. Americas Brutal Prisons
Savaged by dogs, Electrocuted With Cattle Prods, Burned By Toxic Chemicals, Does such barbaric abuse inside U.S. jails explain the horrors that were committed in Iraq?

I UNDERSTAND THE SITUATION I WORK IN A MENTAL HOSPITAL AND PURPLE HEART AND I SAW SOMETHING THAT MADE ME ANGRY AND I REPORT ATTENDANT UNITL THEY TOOK HIM TO JAIL. I LISTED THAT OPTIONS SHOULD BE GIVEN TO THE EDLERS OR DISABLE SENIORS. ALSO TO MENTION THOSE WHO ARE NOT SENOIRS BUT DISABLE INCAPACITATED. THAT'S WHY AS YOUR NEW PRESIDENT I AUTHORIZED HUD SEC. 8 GIVE A LARGER AMOUNT TO LIVING IN THE SENIORS COMMUNITY, RIGHT ALL WITH OTHER SOCIAL SERVICES.

Don't you think we should care for our elderly at home, rather than send them off to nursing homes?

A third of Michigan’s COVID deaths which occurred in nursing homes. Who is to blame? Should we blame President Trump or perhaps the Governor that refused any Federal Government interference from the Federal Government? I have personally heard Michigan's governor Whitmer over the past months...

Wow, I half-way heard this on CNN and thought how amazing elderly people can be. She strangled the 100 year old room mate in a nursing home, claiming the woman was making her life a living hell. Charges?I wonder what I would do under the same circumstances.

Are veterans over glorified in the USA?Considering a large amount of veterans are also criminals, is the generalized glorification of veterans a bit much? Should we start looking at them as individuals rather than as a group? Or do we give the bad ones a free pass because they fought in war? If we...
