    I'm not.

I'm sick of being bled dry to fund bailouts for the world bank cartel.

Don't know if there's much we can do about it since they own the world though.

    And the president.

    And the Congress.

Not going to raise your taxes. Just going to take away what taxes are supposed to get you.

Are you making over $250,000 per year?

Are you a huge corporation should has moved 'offshore' (as in a PO box in the Caribbean) to dodge taxes?

Have your lawyers and lobbyists rigged it so you pay NO taxes even though you're pulling down big bucks?

Are your primary earnings in 'capital gains'? That's money you don't have to work for - stocks, bonds & a variety of paper games that never get your hands dirty. Because the tax rate for money you don't actually work for is HALF what a working professional pays.

That's where Obama and the democrats want to fix the tax system. And it threatens the fat cats behind the teabaggers. The same fat cats who are paying for advertising scare tactics about the national debt. The same fat cats who would pull down bigger tax breaks under the Ryan plan.

The democrats are not saints, but the current GOP is totally bought and paid for.

Doug, is that $250k a year and "adjusted" income or just a flat gross?

President Obama will make a speech tomorrow on the budget. I haven't seen the advance copy but the expectation is that he will call for a combined approach of raising revenue by getting the freeloading rich (corporations and individuals) to pay up and by restructuring the government to something leaner.

Not surprisingly, the shills are already trying to spin this into a middle-class tax hike.

Oh yeah this is a real static system.   One sector gets taxed and no one else is affected.  Uh huh.  Wealth may not trickle down but pain sure does.

    What is with you people?
I got a tax CUT this year, and last.....didn't you?
Always complain about taxes but don't mind the cost of living...that the business sets...geared on their profit margin.
Been to the gas stations? Wall Street is causing those gas prices.....but you'd rather that, than pay taxes.
    Bought propane lately?
    Electricity?
    Phone?
    Notice all those added FEES?
Been to a bank? How much do they charge to get your own money out?
Scamerica. But don't pay taxes.....I guess all you complainers ARE the uber-wealthy. Or you would be thanking Obama too!
